  • I'd rather eat my steak and eggs and stay buff than fool myself into thinking I'm really saving mother nature by eating a vegan diet...how about more practical and less painful ways of reducing your carbon footprint like using public transportation, not having offspring you can't afford, and recycling?

  • @TheFilletShow Some of the most "buff" athletes (including numerous top olympians, body builders and ufc fighters are vegan). VeganBodyBuilding dotcom and search "vegetarian athletes". I think leaving animals alone is a fairly simple way that is controlable, sure I rode motorcycles and compact cars, but before moving back to NYC few public trans options. Definetly population control as you mentioned. For factory farmed animals meatvideo dotcom all should see.

  • @TheFilletShow Yes, going meat-free CAN reduce buffness/bloat/water retention/fat, but it doesn't have to. But I do prefer a rippeed look I get on my fruit-based diet(+ gaining muscle)

When you're healthy, pain disappears. I've never been happier(18 years vegan)

Scientists say Diet has the biggest impact on the world(when u factor in shipping, soil erosion (see the Dust-bowl situation), pesticides creating pollution and wiping out species creating impbalance of nature, etc

  • a ton and a half of co2 down.. . yayy!

steak creates 24x the amount of greenhouse gases as the plate of stir-fry...

    woo! information and facts win.

I don't want my baby to have a big 'footprint.' I also want it to care about the planet....... so my baby will be raised, kindly, as a vegan.

  • I laugh when people say vegan food is tasteless. They also tend not to be very good cooks or always make the same things.

  • @XpoldingToast hah. I have never enjoyed food more and with more taste and variety than when I became vegan. It changed everything for me. I think people just want to feel animal blood and juices in their mouths and roll them around in it while they savor in their beastliness. Meat tastes like crap without being seasoned too.

  • @SimplyCecileP Same here. I only regret not going vegan earlier. Life would have been so much better. Don't know how I ever lived without quinoa, edamame, or vegan ice cream and yogurt.

  • From the book: The ANSWER

It’s also occurred to Ztingar that cows, sheep and horses only

eat grass to survive and are among the most peaceful animals on

Earth. “How come they’ve always been treated so badly, he asks

himself, “cuz we humans not only eat ‘em, but drag ‘em into wars

‘n’ even make ‘em work ‘til they drop sometimes. Maybe instead o’

killin’ other creatures to survive, part of our journey on Earth is to

evolve ‘n’ find more peaceful ways to get our food?”

  • This is stupid. Why is the focus on the environment/"carbon footprint"? The extraordinary health benefits and moral awareness should be the primary (and only) reasons for going vegan.

Stuff like this makes veganism look bad in the eyes of intelligent people who are aware that global warming as a byproduct of man is a scam.

Either way, at least it's getting some mainstream coverage.

  • Im a raw vegan...whats the problem

  • everyone can do it...u just have to get used to it for the first few months

  • Oprah's no vegan. She still plans to wear her Christian Louboutin pumps...WITH REAL LEATHER!

  • VEGAN POWER!!!!

  • BOOOOOOO!!!

  • Everyone needs to watch Earthlings.

  • People you giggle over changing their diet like" tehehe i don't know, i like meat"

seem really retarded to me now like i automatically view them as unintelligent.

    hmmmmm

  • Check out this vegan band, there trying to spread awareness through music. All 3 members don't eat/drink meat or dairy. "We are devastated to see these kinds of unnatural torture but are happy to see that there people who refuse to blindly give in. We are here to support animals 100% and soon will spread our music along with our beliefs." Check it out, search this on youtube or google video: A Friend Of A Dead Friend vegan

  • I'm from Spain and I like to see this news in a report. Here again there is little talk of veganism. Hopefully the "developed world" to realize that we need a global change.

(forgive my basic English I do not know if I spelled correctly)

  • also check out Earthlings the movie- I am now vegan

  • It's fantastic that they are willing to share the love!

    :-)

    Thanks for the video

  • @ChenStyleJohn i just love people like you!

    be like that forever :P
