They played this song at Re:Generation, too bad I didn't tape it, absolutely slammin song. Tribe has a few songs now that don't involve much guitar, and they are all heavy hitters. Since I used to go dancing back in '84, when they played FREESTYLE - DON"T STOP THE ROCK, the original song they sample for the chorus, the dance floor would get flooded in seconds with people. This on is my favorite song of theirs i think :P... My mom was working the V.I.P Tent at the Rothbury Regeneration thing. It was tight she got a signature from them and everything. It was cool because once she told me about them i started listening to them and i realized they are pretty good.

One thing this track has done is hit a chord with a few of my friends who have a hard time with Tribe's older music (which doesn't make sense to me personally but whatevs) and has gotten them exploring more instead of dismissing. So there's that. It's also grown on me quite a bit. I'm excited to hear the rest of this EP, esp. after watching their Hangout set and hearing that wicked first half....at least what little I heard through the broken feed was lovely...

@Rillywutt Me too. I'm a drummer and Zach's my boy but, this is the end result of a push for progression and their ability to change it up. I thought axing the cables was a killer idea that should have taking them another route as well, but it didn't. they should have closed Fri at Hangout as well, whatever. Personally, the scene has changed and so has the music...still good though.
