Playing with thumbs or not is irrelevant You need to go with what is most comfortable to you rather than how others think you should play Its all about the music, and not if you look weird doing it or not I havent bought one album yet and complained about the fingering technique of the pianist Have you tried playing with this fingering? It might just be more comfortable, and fluent... You're robbing yourself if you refuse to learn from this guy because of his fingering technique.

Congratulations Sammy, this was a great performance, i wish someday a could play like you do. I used to play an old Yamaha organ at my parents home, i learned only by ear (i don´t know to read musical notes), it was 20 years ago since i left my parents home and i still when i visit them i can play any of that about 50 songs like 20 years ago. I decided to buy a Yamaha to restart learning, i looked at YPG-625 keyboard, Do yo think is a good one for re-start? Yours is a Motif 8ES? Thanks
