I absolutely love this game it has in my opinion the most in depth detailed and interesting campaign plot I've ever played only bad thing is is that they don't make it for the Xbox :(

@ForFREEDOM13 Well MGS was an playstation only title. That is until the HD collection came out. And the MGS series started way before XBOX'S time. To me it belongs on the PS3

I know it's not typical to say this in praise of a game, but the camera work in this game is phenomenal. It trumps 90% of today's movies.

Add that to great music, great voice acting, great graphics and awesome gameplay, and you have one of the best games of this generation of consoles.

Nano machines in their body enhance and regulate their abilties. Gentic control, information control, emotion control, battle field control everythings monitored and kept under control.... @caelverchiel American weapons aren't especially prone to jamming compared to others. Russian weapons are just phenomenally rugged.

More to the point, Otacon mentions this if you call him after this one. The cheap ammo that was being used by the militia caused a rather grevious malfunction that would take too much time to fix, so Snake ditched the rifle and acquired a new one.

Yeah, the Xbox 360 could run this if it was on 6-8 discs, and it would probably crash and glitch.. A LOT. So the answer is yes.

Not entirely true. The only problem that the XBox would have with this game would be the RAM usage, and would probably cause the console to freeze. The disk size has nothing to do with it.

Wrong. The Xbox 360's discs only hold six gigabytes of data. However, a PS3 disc holds a whopping 50 discs. Metal Gear Solid 4 took up around 49.5 GB. Try fitting that on a 8 Gig Super Mario Bros. 3.

@Chompobar lol it wouldnt crash or glitch Mass effect 2 takes 2 disc and looks and handles fantastic but i kinda rather have the extra disc than have to wait 5 mins after every act for a download lol but fuck it who cares i got ps3 and xbox 360 so i can careless lmao

no, the xbox could never run a game so complex. the reason why this can only be played on PS3 is becouse blu-ray disc can hold up to 5 times the data of a DVD-ROM disc.. it could never handle it.

I see you what mean. Act 1 and 2 were action packed but Act 3 took a dive. Still, I enjoyed each one individually, especially 4 due to the nostalgia and boss battles.

Omg the Love theme is playing in the opening cutscene awesome. You should do some gameplay videos so we can see how awesome it is. Even though I have a PS3 I never played a MGS game so I will be confused about whats happening.

Seriously, when it comes to MGS4, you're not playing a game. No, you're playing a movie, disguised as a game.

It's really, really good. A must buy if you own a PS3.
