Actually they met before. David Mann and Kirk were already singing and David told Kirk to listen to Tamela according to this interview of David and Tamela. And she joined the Family. Then I guess one thing led to another and they started dating and got married. I LOVE the two of them. They can both sing and act and they keep God first.
