I know about Julien-K for quite some time, but for some reason, I never heard heard any of their songs. I follow Ryan Shuck on Twitter and today he posted the link to the video for "We're Here With You". I watched it and enjoyed. I love Julien-K's mix of electronica and post-grunge guitars. Also Shuck has a very good voice.

Really nice, I like where Julien-K is heading now. You guys are brilliant and this video enlightens it. Simple, commercial and yet it has this fashioned "I don't give a fuck" feeling. The new album is more understandable in terms of alternative / electronic culture.

He didn't contribute much to our sound on the albums but did more in the live setting. That's where his skills shined through the best & were very utilized :)

Brandon chose to leave Julien-K and so did Elias, but they will always be our brothers and apart of this.

To answer a few questions about the drums etc.

Elias didn't play on this song. This was programmed by Fu, Sharooz & myself.

As far as the first album, Elias wasn't even in the band when it was finished.

It was all programmed by Fu & Myself although he did help a little on "Disease".

We wish Elias was in the band back then to help cuz he's a great drummer!

Good news, he did help program on like 5 songs on WHWY and is credited.for it :)

As we move forward I hope Frank Z will contribute too!

@CicKiz This is always a strange thing to discuss - on one end the musicians don't care as long as you love the music and as long as you support them in other ways - but on the other - this industry is based on old rules - and if nobody buys a CD - nobody like MTV will support them.

I think that almost right when I read about Elias situation something told me it was going to be Zummo taking his place on drums. For those that haven't seen last year Julien-K played "Cruel Daze of Summer" with Zummo on drums alongside Elias and it was probably one of the best JK perfomances I've seen. Great drummer but I miss Elias
