They cause massive damage when doing team supers. Iron man and Zangief assists really do great damage together and hulk (if you know how to use him) can add more to that. pretty good team IMO

it depends what your goal is. If you want to challenge tournament level players, you have to start looking at characters like storm, magneto, sentinel, and cable. If you want to just have some fun, i recommend playing morrigan, tron bonne, sonson, and stuff. btw, out of the 6 characters u listed, only ironman and cyclops are considers decent characters to use.

oh, and if u ever consider learning the combos you see here in the vid, you should know that most of these where done using turbo 2 settings and cannot be executed under normal circumstances.

oh yeah, a good projectile team.. hmm.. if i had to use one it be cable, ironman, cyclops. All anti air assist. other characters to consider would be spiral. Megaman is too one dimensional, ryu manuevering capabilities is lackluster (hard to keep away) and chun li not reallly a projectile character

My favorite rookie team has to be Spiral, Sabretooth, and T. Bonne, all Projectile assists. Their assists put so much pressure on a defending opponent that you can chip away like crazy and set up into the flashiest combos. My favorite is doing T. Bonne's HP in the air, Sabretooth's assist and topping it off with an unblocked King Kobun special :)

I've been playing Capcom fighting games for 19 years and I've been reading Marvel comics for 15 years. The Street Fighter franchise and the X-Men franchise are among my favourite stuff ever.

Still, the exaggerated, ridiculous mangaish style for the Marvel icons (I mean, look at Wolverine's claws... moving like they were worms), and mostly the button-mashing horrible gameplay full of glitches... it was such a disappointing. :(

Capcom and SNK/Playmore have made (often beneficial) changes to the 'engines' powering their fighting game(s). If you're able to improve on these aspects while keeping the characters 'intact', you could have a stunning product on your hands.

Even with the help of fellow 'masters' (ie Daigo), it will take a lot of work to make this dream a reality.

In fact, if you want an idea of how loud opportunity is knocking, imagine a fighting game, tactics game or RPG featuring all of your favorite cartoon/anime, comics/manga and game characters at once. Each franchise alone could have dozens of games made for it but to combine them all into one world/universe and still keep things entertaining would take some brilliant writing/programming.

Still, we fans have our favorites and imagining how they'd interact is part of the fun. ^_^

Magneto is also another case he attacks with regular attacks to much he uses his power in the comics alot. Cable shoots entirely to much he can fight a close range too. last i checked it has just as many compatible joysticks as the xbox 360...

hori makes 2 versions of all their sticks (one for xbox, one for ps3), madcatz has made 2 versions of their arcade sticks. whats left is 3rd party stuff, and i think more of that is compatible w/ ps3 due to sony not charging outrageous licensing fee's like xbox does to make controllers for the system.

in real tournaments like evo infinites are allowed and "the best players use it all the time" besides all infinites have a hit limit , thing is there are finishers that make pretty much 100% life combos for the rape, check yipes out, infinites 24/7 , also this combo vid is done on prog pads, they exist but are pretty much imposible to execute manually with a strong consistency, still its a work of art and creativity

How can you tell it's Japanese, at 1:51 look at servebot's name, it's "Kobun", dead give away. Also the "image bugs" you see are a product of either the Ruby Heart or Venom web grab glitch.
