You tube finally gives the chance to listen to so many forgotten musical pearls...I like the UK Jazz scene and hope to get all the albums listed in Philippe Renaud´s SIMPLY NOT CRICKET book !
I was just reading in Wire magazine how Keith Rowe felt Westbrook's music held him back, with its "dumpety dump" rhythms. But this sounds pretty slick. Go Westbrook.
Westbrook gets a little funky (check out the bass-line!) Such brilliant joyful stuff. Can't help but smile when I hear it. Guess that must be Mike Osborne wailing away over the top?

Stunning song. I wish Mike had stuck to this kind of song. He is truly gifted but maybe too avant garde?????

Thanks for putting this on. Bought it in 1970 when I was in need of both love and songs. Wonderful. Fantastic bunch of musicians!
