My grandfather used to open just about any master lock with this technique but when we would ask about it he would just say " you have to learn it the hard way" Well he passed on in 2001 and we had his keys and now I remember there was a weird key that didn't fit anything, now after seeing this video I know what he did. I will try this out
Perfect for Licensed Property Management when doing evictions or lockouts, sure as heck beats destructive entry, I have always disliked drilling locks on a good day it takes me 1 minute to drill the lock out and whack it with a hammer and screw driver and I'm in.
I usually try to pick the locks so I can have it rekeyed later.
ok, first my assumption is that you will only need 1 key per key company, so one for schlage, one for weissner, one for weslock, and one for kwikset. but as for padlocks they could be a little more confusing and u might need the exact key per padlock. and yes this does work, my dad was a locksmith for 5 years and it does work
Actually, you can. the key used in the video, a bump key, can open any lock it fits inside. The theory behind the bump key is that you can align the grinded down hills of the key with the pins, and, with some pressure on one part of the key to ready the turn, hit the end of it with enough force to cause the pins to jump out of place.
Keep your mouth closed about things you know nothing about. Say, for example, you actually knew what the concept of bump keys was BEFORE you came in here. THEN you wouldn't be wasting everyone's time and making yourself look even less intelligent.
But maybe, JUST maybe, you are correct! I suppose I never considered the possibility that the media, the companies selling bump keys AND the endless videos of people using homemade bump keys are ALL wrong and simply out to get you. It's only physics...
Think of billiards. The bump key taps all the key pins at the same time, they transfer their energy to the driver pins, and the driver pins jump momentarily up into the hull leaving the key pins in the plug, allowing you to turn the plug freely.
Will the M1 work on a Master Lock Number 3? Cause I've been trying for the better part of a day and I'm not having any luck. It's starting to become discouraging.
I am so confused,,do U need a key for every kind of lock,,I bought 4 different keys at wal-mart and filed them down ,,they did not work,,have you got a universal key or do U carry a pile of keys with you..pls let me know..one for padlocks one for house doors
I bought your 11 key set can't wait! Looks like a breakthrough in lockpicking although I am still kind of old fassion but it's definatly worth taking a look.
Keys that have the first (really, the last) peak filed to the same height should, in theory, work on multiple locks. For example, a 5 pin key that's been modified so pin 5 is the same height should work on a 6 pin lock. Hope I'm making some sense

can't u just take a tennis ball with a hole in it and push it as hard as u can i mean its just as easy ... no .... its EASYER
darksideofthesand 4 years ago
You, sir, are a moron. Yes, this technique may work on older car doors. Masterlocks, and padlocks in general, cannot be opened with mere air pressure.
And just in case nobody's ever taught you to spell, they're spelled "you" and "easier"
AlongForTheRide587 4 years ago
That dosent work the tennis ball dose not give off enough air pressure.
