  • you should record japanese people talking in a conversation. It would be an awesome listening comprehension! then translate slowly or just the important phrases.

  • The 100 Yen shops are pretty amazing, not like our crappy 1 € stores^^

They really have everything and it's really cheap. I know I would love them^^

  • You mean to tell me that dollar stores aren't limited to crap like in the US?

  • @CaffinJapan yeah! most of its quite useful and practical stuff!

  • The fireworks was unexpected lol

  • Hey im

Going to tokyo soon :) ! Ill study in kudan ! Dunno if u know it im from switzerland. Ill stay 2 years... I might need your help ^^

  • 100 Yen is worth much more than just a dollar. It is worth $1.27 as of today.

  • Love the 100 Yen Stores! When I went to Okinawa I bought so much from there. One question Where's the candy?

  • @Queenbooker I didn't see much candy in this particular shop... maybe they were up by the register XD

  • no it means you get a guntank and a giant aircraft carrier (coughzetagundamjokecough)

  • do you think you can talk about japanesse currency some time?

zomg u have the same last name as hiyato from gundam XD

  • @shinobimanexe o.o I already sorta have! Episode 30 is about Japanese money ^^ check it out! and lol does that mean I get a gundum!? XD I want!

  • do you think you can talk about japanesse currency some time?

  • Is this in Harajuku? In Japan, there's 100 yen shop everywhere there especially Fukuoka and Tokyo. I've been there quite a lot when I was in Japan.

  • @beybladestar This is near where I live, Shibuya/Nakameguro area. Harajuku does have some neat 100 yen shops too :3

  • Take us shopping more often.

  • @97North will do XD

  • just one last comment are these really shops really common or would you have to go to a specific area of the city, like the city centre or something?

  • @abdullahazaz I think they're common enough, I don't think you have to look too far to find one. I usually see one here and there wherever I go :3

  • still very convinient

  • @abdullahazaz yeah, for cheap stuff you need right away XD

  • which type of store would you go for when you are looking to buy kitchen ware, ie. non-stick frying pans and so on, cause i will live in an apartment starting aug 2012

  • @abdullahazaz hmm there are couple places I think I can recommend although I have never really done much shopping for Kitchenware... probably department stores like Daiei or Tokyu hands... plan to do videos on them some time soon too :P

  • It's also like 40 Baths Shop in Thailand ! 40 Baths = about 130 YEN

  • @pleum33450 cool! :D

  • Also a great place to buy candy!

  • @Sindini I should grab a bag of candy when I stop by XD

  • cool! looks a lot like the $1 shops in north america

  • @wayf1 yup, pretty similar looking ^^

  • The fireworks was kind of funny. I would buy them, but I would end up making a sparkler bomb.

  • @anthritVlog o_o since they ARE cheap... maybe I'll experiment with them... lol

  • Did you get anything?

  • @jbeary9 I come here rather often, I came this time to take footage and buy a card holder and some supplies (that bag I was holding at the end XD )

  • So what was the Japanese equivalent of Home Depot that you were thinking of?

  • @zero9112 I forgot hardware stores were called "home centers" in Japan. There are a few like D2 and unidy and a Book-off side chain called Hard-off.

  • XD I'll be using one of those places to get my "essentials" when I'm in Tokyo!

  • @MangakaLuna good idea XD

  • Stopped in to see you.

  • 100 yen shops/$1 dollar stores rock XD you can get everything you need there to make life a little easier. though I hate it when mom spends an hour in there.

Good thing the 100 yen store sells toy shotguns. Them kids need to be prepared for when High School of the Dead becomes real.

  • @Michael5476 yeah! you know, just some slight modifications and you're ready with anti-zombie equipment! :D

  • i didn't see that coming

  • @alvonellos23345 XD me neither

  • 100 Yen... is that like the $1 stores in the U.S.?

  • @VocaloidYOKO Pretty much.

  • @Michael5476 I see. Thank you.

  • @VocaloidYOKO yup ^^ its the same concept. Though i think 100 yen shops carry nicer stuff.

  • @Subtokyo I see! that makes sense.
