  • can't believe you're driving, filming and vlogging at the same time! Are you a woman?

  • @TheBathroomGirl You don't drive a bike, you ride! :)

  • @TheBathroomGirl He probably just drives this route every day so he can zone out and vlog. And he's an OG so....

  • @TheBathroomGirl "are you a girl?" what do you mean?

  • @TakenbyForce78 oops wrong username

  • thanx for sharing your touching story with us!

  • 台灣的路不平,要小心騎車阿

  • Blame Canada!

  • Are you still living in Taiwan now? As a student looking to teach English in Taiwan (or do SOMETHING) I'd be really interested to know anything more about your experiences in Taiwan. :) I've also made plans to visit next year for a full month. So if you get this please reply!

  • @TianaMaryHelena

Hey, my man. Not the guy you were trying to talk to but I have been living in Taiwan for 13 years and I can give you a heads up. If you wish to find a job teaching English in Taiwan most crime schools will probably hope that you stay for a few months. One month might be a little too short for them to consider you. If you have a university degree in a field such as English/engineering/business/medicine/etc, you can get a well paid teaching job. (Well above average income)

  • Lol i was trying to find this video, i typed in "why taiwan m13".........and nothing

  • how did you go about moving to taiwan also did you need to go through imigration?

  • @vancouversasquatch especially Thailand... (yeah i know Taiwan and Thailand are completely different countries, i`m just saying..)

  • im thinking about teaching english in taiwan. any advice anyone? any and all opinions welcome, regardless of what they may be. thanks in advance!

  • @dicksalad1122 coming from a guy with a name (DICKsalad1122) LMAO

  • @dicksalad1122 thats all you got ... typical "your mom" joke nigga your waste just shut the fuck up and keep eating you penis salad

  • with a dog?

  • i love taiwan!

  • Wow! Can't believe I never saw this before! Great video xxx

  • @vancouversasquatch You know nothing about this guy, but you're willing to suggest he's mentally ill? That's sad. Although I've met some English teachers in Asia who I know wouldn't have made it back home due to poor social skills, they weren't criminally insane. And I've met far more outstanding westerners in Asia who are there because they are pursuing careers in the world's fastest growing economies, or pursuing genuine interests in the language and culture. Think before you type, please.

  • I love TAIWAN! :D

  • damn dude, you lost quite a bit of money trusting your friends. I would have left the responsibilities to a family member instead. Either way, it looks like you are making it out there in Taiwan. I hope you continue with your success thus far.

  • just came back from taiwan a few hours ago and i loved it there. :)

  • how do causally ride a moto with a chiuaha

  • @vancouversasquatch you know what? FUCK URSELF! You probably have never been to Asia huh? From Canada? Then better shut up and go rape some bears. Such comments always come from some short dick idiots with a brain of a peanuts size. I hope for you, you go to jail some time and drop the soap in the shower!

  • quit misusing your friggin westernized UNEARNED PRIVILEGE.

you're doing this for the WRONG reasons.

  • Sorry man, your speech was not good....Do you real know about Taiwan?Or just a cheaper place for you to live?

  • I'd love to move to Taiwan to teach English.

  • They straight RAN your shit.... and you let it slide... haha... Now that's why you get no woman/no respect.

  • @ILuv2troll i bet u get all the women "ILuv2troll"

  • @decosava i am a filipino and i love you too.. = ) well said.. >.<

  • that guy that was meant to collect rent for u sound like a dick

just thought id say what wer all thinking :)

  • alex26i "The people are so much more honest." "I was a traveler," "Government processes are so easy and Straight forward"

Taiwan is a good, place, but you are fooling yourself until you live here. Honest. .........Yup....OK... uh... huh.

  • @AhhCulo - I really don't get it, things must be hard for you guys. I get people who say crap like this to me all the time. Unless bad things happen to you, why are you saying stuff like that?? I own a place and have a kid and a wife. And I have been back to the usa 2 times. And I will tell you right now, Taiwan is 10 times better. The people are awsome. My guess is you arn't taiwanese or you just have a really bad life. People here have been nothing but helpfull and kind to me.

  • I am from the USA. And for me coming to Taiwan was like heaven from the start. No I am not a teacher. I was a traveler, who loved to see things. I never had a problem. More than 7 years. The best part about Taiwan is the people. If anything, I found life here to be MUCH easier than USA. The people are so much more honest. Government processes are so easy and Straight forward. I love Hongkong too and I will say Taiwan is a better place to live. I have no idea how you had problems.

  • @alex26i I felt the same way when I was in Korea I would move back in a heart beat

  • @alex26i I want to move to Taiwan but since I only have a High School Diploma and my only trait is music I don't know how I could make a living

  • This is pretty interesting to me. Not sure about the driving, but I'm sure I'd get used to it. What areas of teaching are needed? I've not really considered teaching but lifes full of mystery's. If you could help me out with some information I'd be greatful, Walter319@yahoo.com

  • @photguy66 You need to drive a minibike for 1 year before you can drive a car. And you should do this. It will help you greatly understand traffic. Goto Tealit's website and they have a test on the bottom if you can pass that then you can take the driver's test. Most rules are like USA with a few funky extra signs. Overall it is very easy to do. I still like to drive the Minibike.

  • im chinese :P

  • cant believe that bloke would basicly nick your morgage money for his own benifit

  • @TheCrazymook - Give me a break, he could have been checking the accounts by logging in. It would have been easy to see people wern't paying.

  • did anybody else notice the street signal just disappear at 4:28 !!!??

  • @DiddleyBoh are you serious no poverty thats a lie -_-

  • @terrell568 Its absolutly true. Taiwan is THE country with the LOWEST POVERTY RATE in the worl. Just looko it up before you bullshit here and share your stupidity

  • @itsruw was your vagina scratching all day ? seems so

  • @terrell568 Oh not really, since I have a dick, but I guess ur moms was, after we did the stretching last night. But I also wouldnt mind sticking my dick in your ass and fucking the shit out of you retarded bastard :) Have a nice night, u will hear me coming from behind O-------->0

  • @itsruw HOMOSEXUAL ALERT!: Im guessing anal sex with another male is apart of your lifestyle please stay away

  • @terrell568 : Wow, now you are saying your mom is a dude? Ewwwww, you are disgusting :D

  • @terrell568 really Taiwan is not USA. Visit it first. There are no ghetto's like in usa has. Even the poor places are just poor. Not trashed. And the people are respectful. It really makes me hate to see what has happen in USA culture.

  • @DiddleyBoh

What kind of dog problem do the Taiwanese have? Are they overpopulated?

  • @MAVIEGUITARS There are too many homeless dogs. Otherwise Taiwanese love their dogs and even buy baby's items for their use. But somehow looks like there are no dog pounds in the country or at least not enough.

  • @DiddleyBoh did you not see the video where the man was beating the shit out his dog? or the video where the girl crashes her scooter and knocks her teeth out and noone helps? or the old woman his m13's car and lies about it

so i guess you only mean a few taiwan people are decent, friendly, and gracious

point being..don't generalize an entire population by the actions of a few

  • @god1aj Of course not the entire population is like that but most of it. Im not Taiwanese and I will go back to my country soon but after a years here I can definitely say that most Taiwanese are decent, friendly and well educated.

  • @DiddleyBoh

    Unfortunetly, you may be deceived.

  • @DiddleyBoh As a native from Taiwan, I disagree. It's an over-generalization to suggest, first of all, that all Taiwanese people are decent, friendly and gracious. Sure, some people here are, just like some people are everywhere else in the world. The same goes for the remark about women and men. Also, everything here is not necessarily clean: Taiwan has plenty of environmental issues (pollution, water contam., raw sewage, etc). To suggest there is no poverty here is incredibly ignorant.

  • how the hell are you keeping your dog from falling off of that scooteR?

  • You were living in Winnipeg! That's why, Edmonton is the way to go buddy.

  • People keep telling me it's a big change && i will hate. Theyre all "No 7 Elevens to go to." well u no wat? HAH!!! 2:23

  • Welcome to TAIWAN !!XD

  • Ignore that last comment I posted on the video about the girl & her dog that fell off her scooter * got her teeth knocked out. Guess I should have started with this video. Can't fond the other one to remove the comment.

  • what city is this? and is the language barrier hard to overcome?

  • Hey I know this place! I mean the road. I am a Taiwanese. Were you riding on the way from 龍潭 to 關西? but you turn right at last, so I forgot where it leads to but if you keep going straight you would reach my hometown 關西. I think Taiwan is wonderful except pollutions.

  • what kind of bike or scooter are you riding in this video? Also, how are you filming and recording this??? Is it a home made contraption or something off the shelf? Btw, I enjoy your stories~

  • Just to add some spice to the anti-China rants. Yep MOST chinese will screw you over for their own good. I deal with that on a daily basis. None of the taiwanese ppl i know would do that.

This comes from an observer. i'm not white or racist. Take my words , for they are good :-D

  • @nikhilesh1

Thanks for the good comment about Taiwanese people...I am happy to know. it's important for us to know how foreigners think of us ^ ^

  • @nikhilesh1 really? Then you don' t know many Taiwanese people . My gf was nice enough to help her Taiwanese friend move, and their dog bite my gf. they didn't even apologize. They are lucky i was not there , i would have kick or killed that bitch.

and How many people did former Taiwan's president Chen Shui-bian screwed to get US$15 million There are nice and bad people in every race, open your eyes

  • you inspire me man.

  • no shit dude, the Yamaha virago was my dads first bike when he was 16

  • 這好像是桃園==

  • If you think Taiwanese are Chinese, then I think Taiwanese are a more evolved, clean version of Chinese.

If Taiwanese wants to be Mainland Chinese, you must learn to shit on the public path, flem spit on the ground, and make fake goods. Taiwan will never be like Mainaland China because you taiwanese people can't make fake goods for shit, do you shit on the street? Do you roll your tongue hardcore when speaking manadrin? NO, so STFU you will never be mainlanders,

  • Yay Taiwan , I went back recently...had fun , Hot! , anyways TAIWAN FTW!!

  • we are definitely not a same country.

do you know how chinese taipei come from?we have been bullied by china since 1971. we have the right to join the UN,but we can't.because of other country who all want china's money . we didn't even get the correct information about SARS IN2003.this is very inhuman in modern society.we use different charcters, we have different government, we have freedom of speech and move!Recognize the reality!

  • i love taiwan itz my hometown :D :D :D <3333333333

  • you are really funny! I just said, I often hear Chinese Taipei! Taiwan is a country? Why is not Taiwan, the United Nations, WHO which only Chinese Taipei, but also China's glance it? Every time the Olympics comes into play, why did not you flag of the Republic of China, and your name is Chinese Taipei! Do not you know the meaning in English, Chinese Taipei,is China's Taipei!

  • @tmactmac19890812

    hahahahaaha......well said.

  • @tmactmac19890812 Don't be silly. Taiwan isn't part of China. Chinese people weren't even allowed to visit Taiwan until recently. And Taiwanese have always been allowed into China.

  • @13mordeth

well i would say there are two china now~

taiwan and mainland china are both china but they have different names and rules taiwan---- Republic of China ( why is it called "China" if its not? ) China---People's republic of China

  • @13mordeth

thats because as the sore losers the KMTs are they never admitted they lost the civil war, whereas CCP in China dont really care that much

  • @13mordeth What a great point you made!

Were you recording this while riding your motorcycle? Isn't that dangerous?

Are you still living in Taiwan now? I am actually from Taiwan but I live in Canada

Nice to meet you ^ ^

  • @13mordeth

LOL "Taiwan" still claims to be the "legitimate" government of all China. Passport says "Republic of CHINA" The travel ban was due to the civil war the Nationalists lost.

Maybe they can try harder to re-take mainland and "rescue the people" like the Nationalists claimed for so long.

Don't you visit some of their military museums in Taipei? Check out some of their claims - it'll make you laugh.

  • @13mordeth what do u work as in Taiwan?

  • @MrCOHfan hes a teacher

  • @13mordeth they're not chinese because the chinese weren't allowed to visit taiwan?

or they are chinese because the taiwanese are allowed to visit china?

or since recently the chinese can visit taiwan, they are chinese now?

lol. i hope you see my point that your reasoning of how or why taiwan isnt part of china really doesnt make any sense.

taiwan is officially called the republic of china. did you know that?

  • @13mordeth

dont be silly, ROC is not admited by UN anymore.

  • @13mordeth thats because of the communists on the mainland. they didnt want there people to see the democratic society that is on the nationalists republic. the commies were afraid that too many people would be inlfuenced democratically too much. thats why they dont want there people to see what taiwan really is all about.

  • cool

  • Question: Are Taiwanese their own ethnic group, or are they immigrants from mainland China, and therefore Chinese in origin?

And do Taiwanese consider themselves culturally divergent from China, or is there a close symbiotic relationship that is acknowledged?

I don't know very much about East Asia so I was just curious about this relationship, because at times it seems hostile, but then again what you see in the media is not always the whole portrait.

  • @Hapafull There was a civil war in China. The losing government (the non commie one) ran away to Taiwan. Taiwan and China bombed each other for years. Even though Taiwan is a small island it held it's own against China for a long time. The USA recognized Taiwan as legitimate government of China for a while. But then china started making money....and now the USA recognizes China as controlling Taiwan. But in truth they are two totally separate countries.

  • @13mordeth Yeah because China said "Either recognize us or Taiwan but not both". Well, in that light, who could afford to recognize Taiwan? And, further, for almost all those little white people living in most areas of America, or any place where there ISN'T a significant Asian population, the word "Taiwanese" might as well be "Ethiopian". Few know where, what, who, etc it is or perhaps have never even heard of it. On the other hand, find me a single person who doesn't know what China is.

  • @Hapafull During the "cultural revolution" China destroyed as much of it's own culture as it could. While Taiwan tried to save it. The Chinese people today care about nothing other than money and are willing to put anti-freeze in baby formula if it's a few pennies cheaper than sugar. While the Taiwanese people still retain their humanity.

  • @13mordeth

You didn't really address my question, but I appreciate the reply.

  • @Hapafull Taiwanese people are from China. But they consider themselves very separate. You get a few people who want reunification, but the majority are against it. There are also the local Taiwan aboriginals who are "truly" Taiwanese.

  • @13mordeth Interesting. I used to work at a company that was beginning a relationship with China. One of the Chinese people that we dealt with lied to us often. It was as if his values valued pride over honesty.

  • @pauldangerkile People from China are proud of their lying ability (which isn't that good actually) lying is a normal part of their culture. They pride themselves on it. Kinda like the Ferengi from StarTrek.

  • @13mordeth haha totally agrre (:D
