Yes, they mostly grunt. But they can roar like lions and tigers, if you want an example, put "Onça Pintada x Jacaré" into the searcher and 0:50 there is a typical roar, followed by grunting. Btw I really hate when these idiots put cougar scream on videos with jaguar. Maybe they think it makes more scary effects for Americans, because cougar lives in USA and jaguar (except few pieces in the south) doesn't. But it's really stupid
