God, the vids of the last place made it look easy/medium. So in my 6th year (This is like my 5th time playing the game but I haven't beaten it) I'm like: FUCK YEAH LET'S GO BEAT THE GAME! ... I got owned. Badly. Not even by the boss LOL I ran through to the plants that cancel out your barrier, and there's when I'm like "Crap." DX Hate that place.

So many wonderful hours commited to this game. One of my favorite Final Fantasy's because I was able to play it with my Dad and my sister ^^ Best family bonding ever.

@UnsentLegacy It's my personal opinion that FFCC was not made for single player. It's super fun multiplayer, and in single player you have to deal with "It's your turn to carry the chalice, kupo!" The moogle's cuteness can only save it for so long before...

@cheea5 YES! EXACTLY! LOL! There were so many time (paticularly during Mount Vellenge and the Lynari Desert) that I wanted to strangle Mog. I loved it even in single player though. But deep down I wished I had someone to play with. I honestly never did. I hope they re-release on the Wii with better Multiplayer capabilities. Using the NDS at least. Or on the WiiU, with excellent AI so you don't need more players for the whole experience.

it would be cool if they added new areas to the game as well

but i dont know if square enix would come back to this title, to me it looks like they gave up on the crystal chronicles series because of how much they messed up on the sequels (even tho echoes of time isnt bad, just the local multiplayer is)

when i finished this game, i was like "nononononononononono, NO, I REFUSE TO LET EVERYTHING I DID END LIKE THIS! " but, heck, they didnt make a second one or anything, but made crystal bearers instead. the graphics looked....funny.

@natsorama There was Rings Of Fate and Echoes Of Time on DS though. Needless to say the original definitely was the best. you can tell there was a certain level of care square put in to it especially with the graphics and music.

i loved this game but i hope the fix the franchise for this game

crystal bearers was supposed to fix it but instead of fixing it made it worse

ring of fates is a game im not considering getting but im thinking about getting echoes of time, but i heard bad things about the clunky AI in the single player mode

but i guess i could get over that since the original game also had problems with its single player mode as well

I get goose bumps to each of Crystal Chronicles songs, I passed it about one an' half years ago, with two others. For some reason it brings memories and i can't get it out of my head that Crystal Chronicles was epic. I personally think that Crystal Bearers ruined the franchise completely. Ring of Fates isn't that good when you played Echoes of Time after you got Ring of Fates. I hope they remake this for online play and include extra stuff. I wish I knew why this game will always be rememberable
