@soonfully I read about sugar substitutes such as Splenda in Suzanne Somers' book "Breakthrough: Eight Steps to Wellness." DaVinci sugar-free syrups use Splenda which is an excitotoxin that literally excites brain cells to death. Since the brain never replaces dead cells, use of these sugar substitutes has been linked to diseases like Alzheimers.
@Hseegee his name is Louie and he's a sweetie. I bought the Wasa at the local whole food store. It's called Marlene's Market and Deli. I couldn't find any breadsticks or melba toast, which is what I WANTED. So, it was a happy accident.
@Mumzeeee LOL! That's why I hardly ever use it. But I have a LOT of the syrups and they are tasty. It's like alcohol, I guess. We all know it's poison, but we drink it anyway.

Sweet Leaf makes a Vanilla flavored liquid stevia...that might be safer to use : )

FYI.... Splenda kills 50% of the GOOD gut bacteria and causes bloating...yuck.
