You have a great tone but try to sing more in the front ( like to the back of your teeth) You have a great voice. And I know that God found it beautiful! Keep Singing!
You can sing the high notes with a more controlled technique without shouting with all you've got, I did the same in the past but it wrecks your voice. Good job though, I normally hate covers people do (cos they're so horrible) but I do quite like your cover! Try recording in the kitchen, lol, it has great acoustics, at least in my kitchen it does :) :p
I always have to sing super loud at those parts too, and you did a good job. Lol you have a super long neck like me too, haha. I don't know if you were but it looked like you might have been singing from your throat, try to use your diaphragm some more for proper air support on the lower notes. Great Job though, I know how much we all sound good to ourselves but once it's recorded it's a different story, but this was quite well done. The guitar was always nice and never annoying so good job!
what i did was just listen to the song, and played it over and over... the E is long before going to B then short going to C#m then long again going to A then short going E.. then all over again.. (meaning longer count and shorter counts) hope that helps?
