great movie!! have seen both versions several times!! but want to buy both of them on dvd but haven't found the earlier version yet but i know the current version is out on dvd still.

i reckon the earlier version is the best one but the new version is pretty good too!

The movie came out in 1990 and it was full of vilance and a good story. I liked it but it was nothing like the orginal film made in the 1960's it was conversal because it had some nude sceans of young boys. It showed more of what will happen if boys truly were abadaned on an island. I like the old version much better. I thnk it is time to make a new film that is more a combination of the old film and the new. I think nudity is ok as long as it is nothing beyond that.

This is a great video you've put together, it fits in so well with the music and the song choice is perfect! We've just started doing this at school for one of our peices of coursework, and purely by luck and coincidence this was on Virgin yesterday night, the same version. I watched it all and liked it; although I was nearly in tears at Simon and Piggy's deaths!;___; The plot is quite alot different than the book though, but still a good film!

i love this book. it teaches me many new things about the real meaning of life, my teacher pointed out that everyone is born evil" and there are other meanings of this book too but read it throughly and you'll understand that life isn't always pefect, and how will your life be without your parents, don't ever be mad at them you'll regret it=D i hope everyone feels the same way^^

Very well done! I enjoyed the 1963 black and white version of the movie because it was closer to the book, but this movie was good, too. Regardless, this is great editing and scene choice and the song fits the overall conflict of the film in an odd way! Well done and good luck on future YouTube projects! :)
