Did anyone notice the difference between the poor old Croatian taxi and Slovenian one ? :-) Croatia is 200 years behind Slovenia in culture, development and beauty. :-) Slovenia is the best.

@12BurekSaMesom21 ... cause in summer we like the sea, and Croatia is close enough, even if not cheap and careless about investing in turism. So many already prefer to go to cheaper and better places. I have personal reasons to continue to spend my vacations in Croatia or to be precise in Istra. Even if price/offer ratio is not good any more I will continue, cause I have good friends there.

Still : Slovenia in 'nature' can offer more than Croatia, with mountains, caves ect is just BEUTIFULL !!!

The music is Croatian from a local artist. About half of the film is in Croatia.

I don't remember the address. I found it in Lonely Planet. It's about 2 km straight south of the lake in a farming area. It's worth looking for it!

Well it was used in the beggining, which isn't in Slovenia. It would obviously sound weird to just cut-off a song in between or mute it.

Not that I particularly mind; but almost every video that shows Slovenia made by tourists has the wrong music. Usually some kind of mediterranean Croatian or even Serbian folk music. You should try some Slovene polka instead (not that I listen to it, ugh, but it would fit a lot more) ;)

Thanks for commenting Wikingus. Of all the little vids I've done while traveling, I try and include some local music that I pick up while I'm there. I met this particular band while in Croatia (Zagreb) but it had a great fit to the video I wanted to provide. Besides, some of the footage is from Zagreb and Split so it's not completely Slovenia.
