Yup The opening building is a major building for princeton, surprising, filled with shops I think, so it was only natural to include the rowers and their coach at practice near the boathouse (and no where near the building used for the hospital)

The shot of the rowing team was done because the producers originally wanted to include an image of a cane and an image of a Vicodin bottle, but Fox objected. This left them without any image to accompany Jennifer Morrison's name, so they picked the rowing team.
