well ive seen drivable t-54/55s with their guns deactivadet going for 30-50k euros,t-34s for 30-40ks we have some drivable t-34s,t-55s and one sherman in private use. ww2 german tanks are on other price range then, when our army sold old sturmgeshutz 3s which had been in firing ranges for +120k euros.
Tank crew are more important to save than the tank... Damage tank can always be restored or replace but the life of her crew are not... It dsn't matter if the tank is distroyed the important thing is her crew must survive.

Classrooms in Berlin taught us Russian tactics was to swarm the enemy with numbers as they did with great succes in ww2 ! On inspection of Russian hardware we destroyed in 91 that the Iraqs used we realised it was very simple, light armoured and quite primitive ie very easy to knock out with DU ! Although with 50 MBTS in a battle group faceing 200 you still have work to do .

well ive seen drivable t-54/55s with their guns deactivadet going for 30-50k euros,t-34s for 30-40ks we have some drivable t-34s,t-55s and one sherman in private use. ww2 german tanks are on other price range then, when our army sold old sturmgeshutz 3s which had been in firing ranges for +120k euros.

West favors crew comfort and survial. Russians dont consider it a priority. Remember it takes a week to make a tank it takes 18 years to raise and train a solder. Classrooms in Berlin taught us Russian tactics was to swarm the enemy with numbers as they did with great succes in ww2 ! On inspection of Russian hardware we destroyed in 91 that the Iraqs used we realised it was very simple, light armoured and quite primitive ie very easy to knock out with DU ! Although with 50 MBTS in a battle group faceing 200 you still have work to do .

The Soviet equipment was old out of date they also had weeks if not months to prepare but Saddam put in conscripts in the front line as he didnt want to sacrifice his Republican Guard . And the armor is not getting thicker, it is being improved.
