cool you will enjoy it...... i belive i need something bigger now thou its been two summers with this bike ??? need a 750 something i think but this is a great stater bike and my insurance is cheap too
hey man, even a 600cc supersport will be a real big difference...I started with a 500 gpx, had a 1999 gsxr750 now 06 600rr...the rr is the fastest by far...evceryone says no big diff between gsxr 600 and the 750...now 600 to 1000cc big difference
I just picked up a 97, all fluids serviced, new chain, new bigger sprocket, K&N air filter, 16,000 miles, few scratches; $2000. If you don't care about the age or are willing to do a little work, pick up an older ninja 500. This month alone i've seen 3 89-94 ninjas for under $1500. Great bikes for the price.
this is a great bike. im actually getting one when i pass my test. i just think kawasaki should update the style a little eg make the panels less square, change the big square headlight and make the back end more attractive.
this seems like a great bike, not the best looking ninja, still an attractive bike lol but WAY better looking than the competition (Suzuki gsf 500f). also its a Kawi so you know its quality. :]
Hey, I think your bike is beautiful. I really want to get into motorcycles and I am thinking about getting a 500R as a first bike. Also, I like this music alot better than the other one.
I am buying my first bike in late march and I was gonna buy a dual purpose but now I want a sports bike. I was thinking the 250 would be cool because they redid it and made it look cool but I think the 500R would be better. How fast does this go? and how reliable?
i think this is a great bike to start on it has alot of power for the lower end bikes everywhere you go people recomend the 500 for the first bike. I rode a 250 and was like this sucks lol. It accelarates pretty good and takes you up to highway speeds verry quickly. if your not looking to go 120MPH i think you will be fine i think it will do that anyway but i have never tryed lol
i rode a few weeks ago in the rain and i dont have too much experience in the rain so i was verry cautious but overall it handles fine in the rain i think with bigger tires it would probally give me more confidence especially when the rain just begins because its most slippery at this time
i crashed my '08 Ninja 500r not too long ago. So i'm transforming it into a streetfighter. Almost done too.
