  • I like Scuba.com, but that was a waste of 3:57

  • My dad has a ten pound sledge he hits his bottle with. He says thats the best way to tell if it has air without a guage.

  • Cool trick Brochacho. I will have to try it next time i rent tanks. Assume I could get the same result just banging on it?

  • Turns out... not really. You need to lift them off the ground to get them to ring right. I've tried just banging them with a rubber mallet, and it's really not as good.

  • the song at the end is so funny!

  • some dive shops wont fill up your tank if it below 30, because they think you are stupid and unsafe

  • this is common sense. you still need a gauge though. I guess you could memorize the tune when full and empty and judge based on that. I would rather trust the gauge though.

  • funny guys!

  • Thats pretty cool :)

  • Now how does this differ with Aluminum vs. Steel tanks?

  • Luv it!!!

  • Always used the lifting test...the heaviest tank being the most full..usually proved accurate for us.

  • It is not in a liquid phase. The weight is too subtle to tell by lifting the tank.

  • must be all in the mind then...

  • @unumnut -- liquid? compressed gases have weight.

    Compressed air has 4-6 pounds.

  • I luuuuuv your work man!

  • Pretty neat.

  • what tune can you play with 300bar ones?!? BOOM SHAKE, SHAKE D ROOM!!hahahahahaha

  • That's way cool, Scuba tank garage band!

  • yeah, eventho it is less than most divers do to their tanks, it will still get some mean stares from the guy you rent tanks from :)

  • lol i think a dive shop might have a heart attack if they saw you doing that and didnt know why you where doing it at least the one close to me would

  • lol rolf i love where plays music with tanks :)

  • lol very good but can i ask. if you check your tank like that isntthere a chance that you can within time damage your tank?

  • No... It's not like we're dropping it off a building - A little bounce on the floor is way less trauma than a tank will go through in it's normal day of use.

  • lol yeah i suppose your right. watched the rest of your videos. great job with them all and atleast ive learnt something today

  • ok the song was totally the best part. i am so going into my garage and trying that right now!!!

  • A great tip I'll try it this weekend. btw how about free bird next time. lol Great job love the tipe keep them coming.
