What can I say? I can't believe that so many people disliked this. More than 300 people have no taste for beauty and skill. Evan is adorable. He started me watching Dancing With the Stars and I'm so glad he got second place. He's so expressive, hard working and I never get tired of watching him.

This was a beautiful program. There really is no question that Evan deserved the gold medal. Anyone who argues otherwise is either blind or kidding themselves. So Evan didn't do a quad... but his program OVERALL was MUCH cleaner, more beautifully executed, and balanced than Plushenko's. Great job, Evan. You've earned the right to every bit of success coming your way.

I don't get the controversy - there's not enough room to say everything that is GREAT about this program - every jump has a difficult entry with great speed and edges on both entry and exit - high, tight rotations and superb position in the air - there's tons of difficult footwork - wonderful spins, especially the death drop and flying sit spin - constant changes of position in the upper and lower body. NO CONTEST.

I like Evan and Plushenko, they are great !I tried, myself for couple of years and more than 100 times to do all piroutte, axel, rittberger, toolop, flip etc, etc, but I have to confess it is a very very hard sport, and they showed us the beautiful sides of this figure iceskating, better than to see bruises , on your legs.. after the training !

Evan actually skated to Scheherazade, but I set the video to Time for Miracles for two reasons: 1) commentators chattered through the whole video, and 2) Adam's song is beautiful and, I think, fitting! Maybe Evan will skate to one of his songs in an exhibition -- wouldn't that be awesome!!! :D

I remember hearing the commentators say that he really uses all of the ice and almost makes the rink look too small for him. Without knowing much about the technical aspect of skating, I had gotten that impression about him right away.
