Because of this, I have no idea what the name Hulk Hogan means to the casual fan, let alone the non-fan. Hogan wasnt brought in to get guys over. He was brought in to get TNA out there. Not many ppl know about TNA. Only the diehard wrestling fan. I think TNA is pretty good right now but they need ppl to know they are there. Bringing in Hogan is one way to get them noticed. Once your casual wrestling fan tunes in and sees TNA is good they will continue to watch and the company will grow.

TNA needed a big push to get noticed. This is one way to get a lot of publicity and I believe its a smart move.

Dude, I disagree with something that you said, Sting DID put AJ Styles over in this year's Bound For Glory, altho probably not under the best circumstances and he might stick around in TNA for a little longer than planned, but AJ did beat him in that PPV's main event, and Sting basically passed to torch to him.

Mono, I agree with you 200%. I've been a TNA fan for as long as I can remeber, and it kills me to see how bad TNA is at right now. The only thing that keeps me going with TNA is Styles, Joe, Daniels and MCMG. I'm rooting for TNA to succeed, but these vets that they keep signing are not doing anything for me. By now guys such as MCMG, Daniels, Joe, Lethal, Red, Styles should be huge megastars. But now they're mostly in there 30's and still being developed. I hope 2010 TNA will conquer...

Many of us REAL WRESTLING FANS are tired of Cena but they keep him around the top cause kids look up to him as a superhero, and for the first time a wrestler has drawn in a womans fan club that look at him as a sex symbol. My reaction to Hogan coming to TNA was "WTF? How is TNA going to benefit from Hogan? Is TNA that desperate for ratings that they have to get a guy that doesn't draw as much as he used to back in the day?". Let's see now: Hogan is the most popular name in wrestling. Hogan put pro wrestling on the map. Hogan made Wrestlemania the spectacle that it is. I should respect Hogan for that but I don't. Aj is given the chance, Joe is given the chance Morgan loads of people in tna are given promo time and time to shine but they all are really un charismatic. Hulk helps the product from an entertainment stand point. Umm no, AJ is one of the few guys I'll give you, Morgan is a case of teasing us he'll be something, until they screwed him up... again. Morgan is charismatic, if you ever cared to watch his promos with Angle. As for Hogan, if he isn't going to wrestle and put over talent, then what's his purpose there other then a quick paycheck and helping ratings but not product quality?
