I'm trying to understand this process........ That instant white effect is just temporary frost? Once subsided, the tattoo will still remain a little dark? Or does the laser instantly fade the tattoo when it hits it?
@LipRouge It isn't instant - what will happen is after the frost goes away it turns all red - you get bandaged up - and then when you take the bandages off after 24 hours it blisters, once it heals you'll notice after it will be slightly faded. it takes time for your body to absorb the broken down ink. it takes about 6 weeks before you really notice it.
mine is about 2 inches wide and 2inches long lol and is kinda light colored almost like someone used color pencils lol do you think i could get away with just micro abrasion i'm a little scared of having a scar lol
@OurLifeOnFilm4110 Microdermabrasion is for skin isn't it? Tattoo needles go about 2 mm under the skin if i recall correctly. Meaning you'd need to laser it...
Hi, if you don't mind me asking how much does something like this cost? For 3 sessions if you wouldn't mind just a ball park number... Every time I look into it, majority of people I think have to save up a little bit of cash to actually do it and some tattoo removal places want to call you or make you come in for a consult when you just want to know what the ball park is so you can at least be financially prepared.
@DIABETEST1ROCKS It depends on who you go to, the reason they want you to come in for a consult is because they need to judge how large your tattoo is. Generally the area I got done is about $150 a session. after 3 it tends to be faded enough that you can cover up ... actually ... I really should go back - i havent gone back since this video! lol. We're going to reshoot this again with HD, possibly with a GoPro mounted to his head and a mic.
@tigur4 Oh okay... Mine are pretty small so that's good news. Haha. That would definitely be awesome to see! I live in the Edmonton area would you recommend this guy and place?
@DIABETEST1ROCKS Definitely recommend Ben! Go say hi to him and tell him you found this video on youtube :) I need to really make time to go and get more lasered off. Call him at 780.420.6252
@kefun77 usually the first session you can't even tell but it's the second or third session that you start to see results. I haven't gone back since this first session as I've been busy. I'll post a follow up video when i do.
@popsejo it depends on what you are lasering off, the darker the pigment the "easier" it is for the laser to pickup and remove. Also depends on type of ink and how "deep" the ink went in. After this session from this video it already is quite faded, still need 2 or 3 more before I can cover it up, I just haven't had anything done to it in a while. The one on my arm only needed 3 for it to be very light that when I covered it up you couldn't see it anymore.
What does it take to become a doctor to do this and would you recommend it?
