Agreed, but Barack has become a symbol-- something bigger than the actual man, whether by his own design, others' or fate in general. And a Black man being elected President is inspiring any way you slice it, even if style does exceed substance in this case. Whaddya want? It's life. People need heroes and they want a champion more than they want to liberate themselves. I don't blame Dres-- he's an artist not an political analyst and I respect him on the former.

Everyone tries to pin him as a "socialist" because he's trying to let the Bush tax benefits for the wealthiest people expire.
