I'm pretty dissapointed. I wanted to be able to lead any country in a real *grand* campaign, instead of a few countries in small, restricted campaigns. The reason why I've liked TW games, is because you can try to do w/e you want do with w/e country you want. In Napoleon appereantly, you can just play online as countries you really wanna play as in a SP campaign.

There was greece in Empire total war But it comes later in Campaign as a Rebelious Faction against the Ottoman Empite I believe. However you cant play it. I tried it before with a mod.

ok so after traphalger napoleon had no fleet to fight the british but denmark did so napoleon went to go get it . There was a war between denmark and france to protect the fleet but while the french were beating denmark the brits sailed round zealand (the island that copenhagens on) and marched into copenhagen and destroyed the danish fleet to stop the french getting there hands all over it. But that is all denmark had to do with the napoleonic wars

The Dutch have never been a hyper power.
Like you said hyperpower is MILLITARILY, ECONOMICALLY, TECHNOLOGICALLY dominant. The Dutch only where Economically dominant (and technolgically with their ships ofcourse but nothing more)
Previous hyper powers where: Egypt, Hittites, Romans, Mongols (but not for long) Ottomans, Russia, America

It was a seperate, powerful nation. Thus yes. The Dutch were high above any other European power looking for power and money in terms of tolerance during that time. Whereas the British and Spanish slaughtered entire races of peoples, the Dutch 'only' performed small scale murder. As for the colonial possesions, see my above argument. @xRedster Dude, listen most of my friends are Dutch, I'm born in the Netherlands and I've had like a ton of Dutch GF's I love this country, I consider it my own (like I said I'm born and raised in the Netherlands) I'm just saying, they where no "hyperpower" maybe economically, but not Millitarily, not even close (they still are extremely strong economically, but the country is small population is less than Istanbuls population" even in the EU they have no real voice.

I was talking about a period of time where they *were* a hyperpower. As in, not anymore. I also never said nor hinted at you being Anti-Dutch or whatever. I myself am not even Dutch, only by passport. Sure I speak the language but I'm not an ethnic Dutchman. I'm in no way trying to patriotically Defend ''my'' country or something. Cheers.

Yes Napolean did invade Russia. He actually went as far as Moscow because the Russians led him into a trap, but when Napolean went back to west Europe the Russian winter killed many of his troups and then the Russians just picked the remaining troups from there

Well, because it didn't exist properly as the State of Romania until after the Crimean War (otherwise it wasn't effectively "Romania" as a single state). Moreover, it wasn't a significant imperial/empire so it's not viewed as important.

if gb wanted, they could sieze control over norway and so on, but economically, we have a significan`t control over their income of resources, cause all GB does is refine and some oil, when norway is done with resupply oil, All of Europe will eventually, i think, have somewhat of a war over resources.
Also, norway is the european key to the northern pole, (arctic, antarctic, idk soz XD)
Wich is said to have resources, then, russia will also, but to maintain europe as the main nextpost

I'm pretty dissapointed. I wanted to be able to lead any country in a real *grand* campaign, instead of a few countries in small, restricted campaigns. The reason why I've liked TW games, is because you can try to do w/e you want do with w/e country you want. In Napoleon appereantly, you can just play online as countries you really wanna play as in a SP campaign.
I don't really care for the MP. I just wanna try out what-if scenarios in a SP grand campaign.
I'm gonna try TW:Empire first.

I agree with you Norway is a stronger country currently. They have signifigant natural resources that the rest of europe prizes!
Great Britain isn't owned at all by Norway...I love the Norse countries, but honestly Natural Gas shipments to Great Britian is a mute point, because if you raised your prices at all, or threatend to sever supply they would just buy more gas from the United States. The United States has the largest natural gas reserves in the world, tapped and untapped.

But it is not the gas i really wanted to put into spotlight, it is the oil, wich will be empty in about 20-50 years.. yeah i know, it`s sad, cause then you must buy from Russia, wich i bet the states will.. and i bet the russians will sell their gas to the states.
When i say owned, i i didn`t mean they had power over GB, cause norway does not have nuclears, nor can we build because nexpost

There was greece in Empire total war But it comes later in Campaign as a Rebelious Faction against the Ottoman Empite I believe. However you cant play it. I tried it before with a mod.

@3choBlast3r no...he is just saying that in other total war games are greek factions...or factions with a greek culture....etc....and he says that there are greek factions in napoleon and empire total war but they are slaved by ottomans....and you can free them by rebelion.....(i've never played this game so i don't now my self if this option is true)

ok so after traphalger napoleon had no fleet to fight the british but denmark did so napoleon went to go get it . There was a war between denmark and france to protect the fleet but while the french were beating denmark the brits sailed round zealand (the island that copenhagens on) and marched into copenhagen and destroyed the danish fleet to stop the french getting there hands all over it. But that is all denmark had to do with the napoleonic wars
