  • I love 1:05

  • Definitely love Victor Wooten's Jaco reference in his solo.

  • this is pure beauty.

  • i love how mellow the music is, but when you break it down, theyre all really haulin ass

  • sweet

  • @Amiles666 Nah, you are :p

  • @Amiles666 You obviously cannot recognize true talent.

  • @Amiles666 come back when you know anything about music...or anything else for that matter

  • wow, "shitty elevator music"....this music is like understanding divinity..at least fo rme :>

  • THANKYOU FOR THE BASS, VICTA!

  • Thanks for sharing

  • the most beautiful song......

  • soprano sax solo at the end. one of the most beautiful solo's i have ever heard.

  • One of my favorite Bela solos.

  • Great song!

  • Listening to this on a computer or radio really does not do justice to hearing this live. I can understand why people don't like this if they've never seen a real live show by Béla Fleck.

  • I was listening to this track, when an ad for Justin Beiber popped up on my browser. He must have a deathwish for ruining the best eight minutes of my life.

  • This tune is probably my favorite Flecktones tune. Many may not agree, but I think this is some of Wooten's best bass playing. I own several solo albums of his, including A Show of Hands. I can't tell you how many hours I've practiced some of those tunes on that album. It's an incredible piece of work no doubt, but I always liked his work with Bela Fleck more. His fretless bass playing is great on here, and I love the fact that he quoted a lil Jaco in here. It just felt so right. Excellent band.

  • Classy redneck music

  • Bela Fleck's coming to Spokane next month. :)

  • Beautiful peice of music .. one of my favourites

Its first time i heard that with the steel drums.

    Thanks for posting =]

  • The melody from Bela Fleck's "Big Country" is actually from the old Scottish song "Loch Lomond".

  • ill send this song to all my friends and tell them to send it to their friends so they love the flecktones too ;)

  • @AkagenoAdol I've slapped mf's for less.

  • @photolitherland I would have told him to turn it off too... Just because they dont like this joint doesnt mean they listen to beaver or keshas shitty music...Im a hip hop head from the 90s and I listen to all sorts of jazz and soul... but this isnt very good...just my opinion obviously but I dont think its all that good... no hate... just letting you know that not everyone who dislikes this is into shitty music...

  • @KickBack90sBeats It's cool if you don't like Bela Fleck. It's uncool when you say they suck and then preceed to put on shitty music.

  • @KickBack90sBeats ...eat a dick

  • @HegartyCounty Im entitled to my opinion... if you have a problem with that then you should have responded with some kind of intelligence... not speak about whats been on your mind all day... so FUCK OFF!!!

  • @KickBack90sBeats Jazz and Soul? Sorry, but Kenny G. doesn't count.

  • @RockerBug17 Who's Kenny G? I listen to Ahmad Jamal, Bernard Purdie, Lonnie Liston Smith, Dave Brubeck, Adrian Younge, and James Brown funky type shit

  • @KickBack90sBeats respect

  • I dont get it why this band isnt famous in all over the world ? They totally deserve it...

  • This song brings back great memories. Back when I was fourteen years old, my best friend and I would listen to this song while driding around in the countryside. After that, my life fell apart when I began using drugs and then nearly overdosed about once per week. It once meant so much to me, then all my feelings of joy for anything and my memory vanished and I became an asshole.

Now that I'm clean, It's great to hear this song again, this time without throwing my headphones at the screen.

  • good lord! what a great version of my favorite bela fleck tune!!!

  • Pure magic

  • new friends. problem solved.

  • The last sax solo really brings everything together nicely. It gives the piece a lovely elevation.

  • I put this on in the car a few weeks ago and my friend told me 'turn this shitty elevator music off'

I wish you could have seen my face

  • I don't even need to imagine the amount of rage.

  • You should have punched him.

  • @AkagenoAdol

Doesn[t sound like much of a friend to me if they refer to this genius as elevator music. Not that there is anything wrong with elevator music. I like it.

  • @AkagenoAdol

People like that don't deserve ears to hear with.

  • @AkagenoAdol hahahhaha. wow

  • @AkagenoAdol What a CRETIN!

  • @AkagenoAdol HAHAHAHAHAHA! I wish I could have seen your friend's face after you had hit him right on the nose ;)

  • @AkagenoAdol

I hope you drove the car right into a tree to teach him.

  • @AkagenoAdol turn it off and lets listen to AVENGED SEVENFOLD!!!! lol should have given him a shot square in the face :D

  • @AkagenoAdol

i woulda ran the car into a tree at 80, teach him a lesson lol

  • @AkagenoAdol i wlda told him to get off the car, and run him over

  • @AkagenoAdol similar story: I love DMB and my friend hates DMB. So to show me a measurment of his hate he decide to eject a CD of theirs and throw it out of my car window at a stop light. After I realized what he did I got out of the car, not thinking to put it in park, walked around it, yanked him out and told him to go find it. I then proceeded to leave him in the grassy field to look for my CD. He walked home WITH my CD. I don't get mad easily but when I do... oh boy

  • @AkagenoAdol Your friend must have a tiny brain.

  • @AkagenoAdol This music is for intelligent people.

forgive your friend, he suffers from a tiny brain.

  • @AkagenoAdol

I would have escalated the situation to physical violence.

  • @AkagenoAdol Your friend can't help it. He has a deficient brain.

  • @AkagenoAdol I'd like to take a ride in that elevator.

  • Comment removed

  • @AkagenoAdol It's easy to tell when someone has never touched an instrument in their lives and probably never will

  • @AkagenoAdol i wish this played in elevators

  • This may be the most beautiful melody I've ever heard. The song is just so genius in so many ways. It's been a year since I first heard it, and I still can't believe what an incredible song it is.

I've heard a lot of music in my day, and this song is very likely my favorite. Ever. I'm not exaggerating - above every Bach piece (and I love Bach), every Tchaikovsky piece (same deal), even above Renaud Garcia-Fons, who plays the music of my soul. This song just comes out on top.

  • Superb! Thanks for this. Good quality.

  • Thank you. I've been meaning to get around to uploading the last few songs.

  • 5,000 views. this song is ridiculously underrated!!!

  • They're criminally underrated.

  • @freddybower25 this band is absolutely amazing. I have a picture of me and Victor Wooten together! He's super nice.

  • @HempForPresident sweet. i bet he would be nice. How could anyone be even slightly angry after playing and listening to this amazing music over and over!

  • it sure is!

  • I agree

  • I completely agree, there music has such emotion in it, every time I listen to any of their song I just am filled with so many wonderful emotions. I wish more people could experience it..

  • @arteycarguy man i know this music hits me right in the heart no matter how many times you listen to it. I especially "love step quiet by bela fleck" for the ridiculous feelings it generates

  • @freddybower25 At least the video of the performance has almost 100,000, but it's still incredibly underrated.

  • @Draxor99 its much like the issue, well...my issue with hip hip today. we have lil waynes and souja boys making millions off of "music" thats not written by them, or musical in any way, while truly talented underground hip hop artists starve.

  • @freddybower25 It's true, but it's almost better that way. You share this music with the people you know, and it spreads as far as that, but to meet people who know those select artists that are "underground" and amazing is a special thing. It almost makes this music better then it is for it to be lesser known.

Now if only that meant they got the respect they deserve, heh.

  • @Draxor99 so true. so true. i love the moments when i come across a dope track on youtube while surfing and you see the 5000 views it has and you get that feeling of rarity and feeling of finding a true "gem."

  • @freddybower25 From 2009 to 2010 - 5k views, from 2010 - 2011 - 37145 views,world's music taste's getting better :)

  • impressive!!

  • Just might be my favorite tune by Fleck.

  • love this song!!!
