  • I highly recommend you replace the papertowel with topsoil, they love to dig.

  • u can tell if a tortoise is a boy or girl by their shell and tail. but its almost impossible to tell when its a baby. i making a video of my male greek charlieif u want to know what a male tortoise's shell is like

  • Paper towel substrate is HORRIBLE for them, it doesnt allow the tortoise to burrow.

  • i think it's a male

a male is usually smaller than the female and has longer tale and..i cant't describe it actually .. not flate stomache

  • nice! the only thing is that it needs more calcium... try to sprinkle calcium supplement 2-3 times a week on its food.

  • @TheTortDude95 That's what I'm doing...every other day...I have a UVA and UVB light so she has all the vitamins she needs and she is growing really well!! :)

  • oh ok... i live in saudi arabia, so i dont have calcium powder... imma get some in the summer... i use chinese cabbage mixed with lettuce...

  • @TheTortDude95 Chinese cabbage (along with all sort of cabbages) is not good for tortoises, feed a mix of parsley, dandelion, clover, romaine lettuce, rocket, pumpkin and squash, buttercup flowers along with other non toxic weeds and flowers.

  • The tortoise is already pyramiding at this young age~ not good~

  • @Malig1117

It's not pyramiding at all :)

  • where did u get it?

  • @greendayhieu I got it at Montreal, Quebec (2 hrs drive from my place) from a reputable breeder.

  • You definitly need soil or other grounds where the turtle can digg holes in it and stuff. This is not species-appropriate what you got there at the moment.

  • @haistavittu87 This is when she arrived at my place...I have added substrate right after this video. And by the way, when they are little, it is okay to put paper towel in their cage.

  • Im not even joking that cage is awesome man!!!

  • Sweet tortoise man. How much did he cost. My russian tortoise was $90 is greek more expensive
