u can tell if a tortoise is a boy or girl by their shell and tail. but its almost impossible to tell when its a baby. i making a video of my male greek charlieif u want to know what a male tortoise's shell is like
@TheTortDude95 That's what I'm doing...every other day...I have a UVA and UVB light so she has all the vitamins she needs and she is growing really well!! :)
@TheTortDude95 Chinese cabbage (along with all sort of cabbages) is not good for tortoises, feed a mix of parsley, dandelion, clover, romaine lettuce, rocket, pumpkin and squash, buttercup flowers along with other non toxic weeds and flowers.
You definitly need soil or other grounds where the turtle can digg holes in it and stuff. This is not species-appropriate what you got there at the moment.
@haistavittu87 This is when she arrived at my place...I have added substrate right after this video. And by the way, when they are little, it is okay to put paper towel in their cage.
I highly recommend you replace the papertowel with topsoil, they love to dig.

Paper towel substrate is HORRIBLE for them, it doesnt allow the tortoise to burrow.

nice! the only thing is that it needs more calcium... try to sprinkle calcium supplement 2-3 times a week on its food.
