Thanks for watching my videos. It really is hard to talk about my surgery with my friends who have not yet had surgery or will not have surgery. I don't want to brag or make my friend feel bad about thier weight loss. That is what your friend is encountering with you. Good luck on your journey with weight loss. My advice to you is patience, patience, patience and keep your mind fixed on the goal. Hope you get what you need and want.
Also, I watched a vlog recently where someone addressed the "easy way out" thinking about being banded and they said that after YEARS of struggling with weight it was a WAY OUT. And that was the way they looked at it. It didn't matter if it was the easy way or the hard way. All that mattered was it was a way out. And really, who wouldn't chose the easy way out anyway? I am not saying it is the easy way out- but why would that be a bad thing if it was?!?! I am enjoying your vlogs! God Bless you
I am in my journey toward lap-band. But before I decided to have the band a close person to me had the bypass and would never talk with me about it. I would always have to ask how the weightloss was going or how much they had lost. I t bothered me that the info was never offered. But it makes sense that they were just being sensitive to my situation and didn't want it to feel like they were bragging while I was still struggling. Thank you for that insight.
