He looks so relaxed with slow movements while he adjusts to you... I got mine a week ago and have never grabbed him out of the viv only let him climb onto me... if he doesnt want to come ill let him tongue flick and walk away. The thing is when he comes out something will scare him and he freaks out and jumps off me and darts round the room where im forced to grab him and return him to the viv... do i just repeat what im doing and hope for progress? :)

Hi , i bought a green tree monitor male (adult) and Female(juv) the female is cool she look healthy and happy but the male not i cant get him out of the cage he run and scared he dont let me touch him and when i do he make sound like pssss:-(

@AlbertoMuse Well it all depends if you are up for caring for them the way they need to be cared for. They are high maintence because they need a huge cage, eat every day, misted several times a day, lots of humididty, heat, etc. Check out my blog and you will see what I do for mine. If you can do all that then yeah you should get one as they are awesome:)
hey, could u make a how to set up a bearded dragon cage video? if u have a beardie, im getting a new cage a good sized one and id ont know exactly wat to use

@Mylillizards Don't be sorry:) I'm not upset as this is not the first time he's cheated. I'm sooo over it lol! Ready to move on! :) Yes finding a school with a herpetology program is hard. I'm actually moving so I can be close to one and go to college to become a herpetologist. I'm very excited!!!
He's beautiful and your little girl is so cute good she shares your interest in lizards my youngest daughter and my husband love ours. Does your husband like your reptiles too?
@Mylillizards My husband is not really an animal lover. We are complete opposites. He tolerates my reptiles and only likes my giant day geckos. We are actually getting divorced in the next few months because he has been unfaithful. I think this is a good thing though as we are very different people. In the future I hope to find someone who likes animals and kids:)

@ShadowGhost719 he will just take longer to tame. Be gentle, dont grab him. Hold open handed and let him check u out.

My ex husband was the same and he hasn't changed since
you do a great job with your reptiles I just live those habitats
you have for the monitors. I must say I prefer my beardies and my uro to the geckos
but my husband is a gecko man I would live to study herpatology but there
are no classes near me at all
