Last I saw, the fan translation ("kumatrans" as I believe they called it) died due to a lack of any actual technical skill.

I still find it hard to see that cat as a male.

Heh, you used the IDeaS emulator for this didn't you? I recognize the sound distortion near the beginning when Kumatan says the developer's names, the emulators do that, the actual DS dosen't.

I loved the character designs of Habanero-tan and the character designs of Kumatanchi seem to take the same approach but have a nice character distinguishing ability.. The gameplay is similar as well.. I'm on day 2 and it's still really fun..
