according to mainstream science the young small rock size earth was rotating the sun, gathering dust, asteroids, comets, getting bigger & producing all sorts of stuff due to its materials & became the earth. billions of years later the solar system is still full of matter that can be attracted. the earth also has the same gravity. But by some mysterious court "STOP" order the earth has stopped all activity & is sleeping. all equations balanced. BULLSHIT!

I love to see people talk it out and help one another understand because that is what being human is all about. I would guess science isn't just sticking to one thing forever, it's about questioning everything even our teachers before us thousands of years ago we probably thought one thing to another until today and were still questioning and will be questioned by future generations to come. It is highly feasable for light energy leaving the sun and more probably manipulation of space fabric within the earth by earths dynamic magnetic field coupling with that of the suns..for the nuclear reactions within the sun to fuel the creation of matter within the core of the earth.

whatever is happening in the core of the earth is something that can only happen in that dynamic environment. It cannot happen in the core of a dead planet.

From Pangea earth size to present -where the land mass is staying roughly the same, where does all the extra water come from to keep the ocean levels from severely lowering? The area of the earth is increasing with the square of the radius increase, yet the water seems to "fill in " the holes and stay at sea level. What?

Another point to discuss. Based on this video and the theory, there is another issue. The Earth seems to grow such as a balloon, which means a radial expansion from a single point (center). This means that the movement of continent can not provide such bizaroid displacements (India). The plate should also move with the same rate...take a balloon, paste pieces of paper & see the result after blowing.

From what I have seen so far. There are several point that do not match, if there is no drift, the continent are fixed. if there is an extension, there is only an increase of surface, especially ocean crust.. But even if the continent is fixed there is an extension with graben formation, no collision, so no mountain. Furthermore, the liquid water volume should be the same, taht does not match with eustatic variation in the past!

Fundamentally flawed argument: He explains how the curvature flattens causing expansion. Then he flips his argument and starts using a contraction argument.

The model is neat, however it is a MODEL. Models are not evidence. He needs to back this up with physical observations.

For instance: there would be a predictable set of normal faults as the result of this curvature change (i.e. extension). Where are they?

@techgeol Not sure if it counts as evidence, but no scientist has been able to extract core samples from the sea floor older than 70 million years. Getting closer and closer to the fault lines the core samples get younger and younger. Once you get onland, older cores are easily found. This is if nothing else a strong indicator of Mr. Maxlows theory. Peace :)

Earth Expansion has its proof in the Receding Seas. Why has sea level dropped by 16000 feet since pre historical

times? The answer must be that the Planet has Expanded. Is this concept so hard to grasp? Yes it is for we dont even know that the seas have receded by such a large margin. As far as I know many solids give off gas or smoke, or vapor when burnt as well as expanding as they transform, which would help to validate the idea of earth becoming a gas planet in the way- future.

Heat = expansion. Heat anything and it will expand. Anything with heat will ....... ? Expand. This whole debate reminds me of Richard Feynman (RIP) and his SIMPLE demonstration of the elasticity of the rubber 'O' rings on the shuttle that blew up and how lack of heat prevented them from expanding in the expected way. Of course, proving simple things often becomes a vastly complicated process. One wishes we had more Feynmans in the world and less wannabe upstarts. Tectonics is inane.

So in science, it's ok for the universe to expand, it's ok for stars to expand when they are dying, yet it is not acceptable for the Earth to do the same??? When I was in school, I could never get the pieces to fit when they where broken apart. But when I crumpled them up together, they fit perfectly in the trash can.

Would I be correct if think that the Earth has a centrifugal force. Also more it expands bigger is the force? Also, since the Moon makes tides by moving the water, it may move inner "fluids" of the Earth along a certain orbit , which may cause a crack not as a spots but as a long line.

It would change the way we look at any celestial body. It could also partially answer the questions to: infinite/finite Universe; if Universe is infinite and the expansion of Universe is increasing at an accelerating rate what happens to matter & possibly anti-matter, future of the celestial bodies, the Universe and matter itself.

If the universe is infinite, it could also change the way we look at the origin of the universe. The entire idea of the big bang theory would be wrong. Our ideas of matter and the way it behaves would be wrong.

Which is exactly why people have a hard time believing the Expanding Earth theory, because it would blow their minds... I believe that tectonic theory makes some sense, but doesn't explain as much as an expanding Earth model does. I believe scientists need to explore new venues instead of becoming close minded towards ideas like these.

This theory is much more vital and self-explicative than the old, rather fusty, and totally untestable theory of continental drift.

The former theory has as its one asset: establishment.

The new theory requires some thought, it tends to revitalize, and will require the reassessment of a number of sciences.

It should be examined, tested widely and deeply (not merely argued verbally).

If it proves true, the benefits to all sciences and to the advancement of humankind will be extensive.
