  • The woman at 2:26 is a MORON!

  • i liked william's speech during his spin...luckily during grade school i didn't have to put my hand on the lightbulb to fake a fever to watch this show...cfto tv cable 8 aired tpir at 4pm just as i was getting off the bus...they should encore tpir again at 7pm for us 9-5ers...

  • does anyone know the song when they introduce the bed

    i LOVE that cue

  • Drew is writing the showcases to INCLUDE Rich Fields much, much more than ever. Rich and Drew are having fun.

  • Rich is finally getting his chance to be on camera, (thanks to Drew) like the old days of Johnny and Rod. He and Drew are having an awesome time doing the show this year.

  • he's not dead yet!

  • @rmenga4: That's what Cartman said.

  • Kjr0se, i agree. the set looks too retro and the colors they use are too loud and tacky.

  • This had to be from the 35th Season premiere.

  • I Miss Bob Barker. The Price Is Right Rules.

  • Wow, it's the first time I ever see Rich Fields stand up and cheer w/the audience for Bob's entrance....he's the only announcer so far to do that other than Johnny or Rod....

  • I wish they would have kept the set ORIGINAL, and NOT go with a retro look, and they SHOULD have stayed with the ORIGINAL theme music for The Price is Right as well, and Bob should have stayed on as the Executive Producer for the show as well. The so-called "NEW" look for the set is TOTAL TRASH!!!!!!

  • I wish they kept the old music they had, but the set I don't mind. They have been changing the doors for the last few years

  • Boy do I miss Bob. He will be greatly missed always. But hats off to Drew Carey... he is doing good so far. Wish he'd show Rich Fields on Camera though.

  • yeah I agree. I really wish they would show Rich Fields more on Camera. I am a huge fan of rich and I really do get upset if he does not get in at the end lol.

  • Drew has no control over that. And if he did, I think he would do his best to try to get Rich on camera.

  • Folks, as I type this, Bob's has officially taped his last show. It will air (twice) on June 15th as you know.

  • I here that the current anouncer, Rich Fields, might be the new host.

  • that would have been kewl, but i think that drew carry will do a good job

  • I think Chuck Woolery could do it honestly....he seems young enough but still a regular.

  • After Bob's departure, I hope when CBS starts reruns, they start right from the 1972 premier episode.

  • don't know if you're aware streetcarjay, but they're getting a new host.

  • I'm getting two different brainwaves. Half say there will be no host because you can't replace Bob. The other half say there will be a new host!! Let's see who's right!!

  • I loved when the confetti went off. What a way to start Bob Barker's final season on The Price is Right.

  • i love how the guy bids 2200 on the bed, and the girl bids 2199. haha. did anyone pick that up?

  • STUPID BID ALERT! Sheesh.

  • im one of those guys who thinks they should stop price is right once bob retires. i mean, anyone else doing it wouldnt be the same.

  • HERE HERE!

  • I think the best person to be the new host of TPIR would be Todd Newton...just my opinion.

  • That seems like the most logical choice. Seeing as how he does the Vegas shows, he would surely have a decent idea as to how the show is run.

  • that guy was embarassing.

oh well, he's absolutely right; I always watched TPIR when I skipped school.

  • I'm glad he won that boat, but it doesn't relieve the embarrassing $20,000 differences from contestants of boats on those showcases. Those other boats are like $25,000 to $35,000 of those $48,000 showcases! Those boats are no joke! You have to be an expert on that!

  • I love when Bob walks out from behind the stage doors! Exciting!

  • i'd like to see another host even marc summers try and make an even more exciting entrance

  • i love watching this intro... i saw the show this summer and theres so much energy in the crowd and theres so much going on! when bob barker walks through the doors, thats the first time the audience sees him, so everyone goes nuts! everything is so fast paced here.. i like how u can see the barker wall already moving off stage after bob walks out, before the big doors even close!! quite the production

  • i heard that guy with the beard is actually an al queda spy.

ps. that bill guy's reaction is totally staged!

i heard the whole show is staged!

  • i gotta say when bob retires i'm rooting for marc summers to take over

  • the guy with the beard in the background freaks my $hit out :0

  • The lady who bid $2199 for the bed sound like she didn't want the bed that badly.

  • MUST SEE TV!

  • What a great way to start the 35th Season!

  • Got anymore on this, especially the Showcase?

  • Yeah, this lady named Vickiann won $147,512 in total money on the first show of the 35th anniversary special, the biggest in Price is Right history. She also won both showcases, hers was worth $89,739. Her bid was $89,500, so there was only a difference of $239.

  • tight.
