How did you get it to record in widescreen please reply!!

Blurry video on the Canon G9 can also be the result of being in email mode. If you see an envelope icon on the display screen, you need to spin the wheel until you get the standard video setting. Video resolution will no longer be appear fuzzy.

how did you get the G9 to focus?! for me it goes all BLURRY!

@cubeproduktion Blurry? That has never been a problem for me. It's called "Manual Focus".

@supercoolclark well since I use a mac, stop motion software doesnt come with focus in the software, for macs, cameras have to be manually focused by themselves but still, im waiting to get the canon 7D
