Man that looked so fun, Those sharks were ripping line haha. Your brave man just to take that hook out of the sharks mouth like that, I usually just cut the line. Haven't had to many shark encounters....yet. Great Video.

Capt why don't you use a dehooker to remove the sharks? I would think it would be much safer.

captain, do you think the lx could handle 7 foot bulls or hammers? i hear they are supposed to be harder fighters, but I mostly get sandbar sharks 4-7 ft and the lx handles the ones over 6 ft easily. I have about 600 yards of 80 lb spectra on mine..and usually drop my lines 150 yards off the beach..should that hold up..I'm not really targeting anything bigger than 8 ft.

Hey capt. what species of sharks are they - black tip? It's pretty much like fishing for tope in north Atlantic. Nice small sharks - good fun. I would like to see catching bigger sharks though. Like bull, tiger. Regards!
