I can tell devin's from Canada in the lame way he's trying to imitate Rush. Rush is a great band, probably the most progressive and rockiest band in the world for innovation and kick-ass tempo changes etc. all done smoothly. Devin's heard of them and thinks he's 'getting it'. He's only managed to play a few drony chords, a bit like the beginning of a Rush song, but the difference is: Rush's stuff goes somewhere, while devin meanders and goes nowhere with it. Extremely boring and repetitive.

Fiendin, many modern guitarists can't even figure out how to achieve the sound made by Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood. Some 'good' rock bands cover Stones songs, and they CAN'T DO IT PROPERLY. It's not as easy as they make it appear. The Stones have composed MEMORABLE songs. Jagger is unusual but he can DELIVER and it's not 'out of tune'. Nobody can copy him-many try! No offense dude, but making a negative comment about an artist you don't like, knowing that doing so is going to get negative comments back, is pretty much the definition of a real asshole. So yeah, he was right, you are an asshole.
If you don't like the music, and you know it's a DT video, then why would you insist on watching and then commenting about it? Because, as he said, you are an asshole.

Well there, (pot-kettle) Fiendin: you are actually and basically calling YOURSELF an "asshole". For you just made a negative comment about another user you don't like knowing pretty much you'd get a negative comment back! Therefore, by virtue of your OWN logic, you, are an ASSHOLE.

LOL, but here's the difference. I never said I wasn't an asshole. I know I am. But at least I'm not stupid enough to go to a video by a band I don't like, playing music I don't like, and then proceed to chastise those who do like it.

Fiendin, if you call yourself an 'asshole', then you've got one thing right. Don't try to define the prerequisites of being one for all to follow. I am NOT an asshole! That, I know for sure! I speak my mind and say whatever I want, that's my constitutional right. It doesn't make me an asshole, especially since I was simply replying to someone as to why I didn't like devin. There isn't any chastisement, don't exaggerate, I told you like a million times not to.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But you can't really dish it out to Dev. It's like hating Michaelangelo's David. It's of high quality. Just as Dev is. And "this" song, leave this one alone. Why don't you go back to commenting on the Maroon 5 vids, and leave the real composition to Dev and his LOYAL followers.
