The bible teaches that the only way in to heaven is to accept jesus as your lord and savior. Noah died before jesus was born. Poor guy. He did all that work for god by building an ark and saving man kind, and he didn't even get to go to heaven.
i always have to say this whenever the subject comes up: the BIBLE was WRITTEN by MAN!!!! it is the WORD of MAN!!! and the MEN who wrote it, were oft-times strung out on opium or hashish or kif or whatever other mind-altering substances were available at the time. so you have to expect fantastically idiotic things to be written in there. those fairytales have absolutely nothing to do with any god or creator or whoever/whatever force led to our existence.

@mattmossop just observe the societies that came from the area and currently live there. opium, hash, and kif as practically staples of the diets, there. their usage is by no means a modern era thing
