he's quick but not like ............ BOO/suprise/gotcha quick dont forget to consider how small his gloves are unless ur a mma fighter different story.. but ur good NO DOUGHT. KEEP IT UP!
keep up the good work, everyone posting pretty much covered the little parts for improvement, if its possible try to get a larger room or outside so you can really work on using your jab effectively , keeping distance and coming in and out of combos. good work
For your height you should be jabbing a a little bit higher, also if you keep your hands that low for defense your need to make sure you use a lot of head movement.
You're speed and power is coming along well, especially with the hooks.
The one thing that stands out as others have already mentioned is that your lead hand is a bit low. If I were your opponent I would be looking to counter over your jab with a right hand.
Other than that just keep training. When you get to the point where you can keep up the pace that you used in this video for 3 to 5 rounds you're ready for some fights.
good stuff man keep it up! you got fast hands and a killer left hook to the body the only advice is your a bit to square to the bag and just because the bag is not punching back doesn't mean you should give up your distance...chin up man and continue posting :)
I must say you have skills just keep your left hand as high as you keep your right hand. Also throw your jab at eye height not chest height. What i mean is your jab should be thrown above your eyelids not below by your chest
your fists are in the correct position, u have a great double jab, and double hook, really quick, but u need to throw that double then follow up with a power shot from ur right arm, u seem not enjoy using ur right arm haha, when i talk about pivoting and using ur weaving, it best helps to charge up ur power hand(right in ur case) keep up the good work, dont be afraid to throw 6-8 punch combo u have the speed, then back off and put ur guard up and come back with the jab ;)
nice lunging hook, u should keep that in mind, use ur body and legs for punches. You're mostly just doing arm punches, and ur arms power doesn't stop at the shoulder! haha at 2:54 we should be able to see ur back after every hook try to incorporate ur body for power, but try to maintain ur quick handspeed, and practice keeping ur arms up and very stiff, if they're loose u can't really block punches
Um, pretty good hand speed, but I would say when throwing your hooks, to the body and to the head get more of a twist in your body to you can really generate power into them.
and please, please pleeeaase stop dropping your left hand after jabbing, it should be right back up to your chin once your done with the shot.
Like some of the guys have said turn your body too much to aim at! And you need to get into the habit of bringing your punches up, you're striking too low! But good speed and work rate. Good job from London.
your fast enough where you can keep your hands where you want them, just get a bigger room so you can use your feet more, that in combination with your handspeed will create alot of problems for fighters
ur straight punch was too low for ur body. like ur jab it was too low. bring it up a hair but besides that ur looking great. nice movement. oh yea never hit three times wit the same hand. always bring ur other hand after 1 or 2 i kno ur showin speed but somethin to keep in ur head. keep up the good work
thanks. yea i started gettin into boxing like 3 months ago and ive been sitting back and watchin other people do it. now i have a standing bag dummy and ive been workin every since. i love boxing its the best workout and keeps me level
first u need a little more space so u could move back and extend u arms for the cross and jab,do not hit the bag to hard cuz later u will have problems with u knucles,u r a tall so bend ur waist so u do better in body punches, when u trow punches it have to come from the ground up so u need 2 bring u punch with that mentality, but good job and good example for u style and body is pavlik in the bag or timing like cotto in the bag!!
You do drop (a lot) that left hand and your chin also raises as you throw the combo's near the end of the round...that can be dangerous as the rounds go by.
Your body is square on and if I was sparring you I would be hitting you with straight rights to the body, then after a couple of them, to the head.
Great speed and great show of your athleticism. You are clearly a strong puncher and have good hands.
Nice but remember to kee that left up when throwing that right hook to the body and head. Good speed. Remember to bring your jab hand back to that cheek after the throw. (Just in case the other guy is faster) Pivot steps would work well with your speed inside. Use the hips more to turn your hook. Good job though all around.
You do a good job of bringing it back indeed. just protect that cheek. If you can gain access to a double end speed bag it'll help. It helped me to remember to keep them up and or move a lot more becuz I got tired of getting hit back. Lol. Still good though.
GREAT vid dude you have an amazing left hand, but you have to remember you're in an orthodox stance, so use your hand a little more, even tho your hook and jab are two great punches, use that cross, a little more.
Good job man. I like your footwork towards the bag at :30 and 1:30, 2:45, 3:02. I like what you did to throw that right at 1:00. Good work at 1:48. Nice back back , get off me work at 2:26. Nice flurries through out the vid.
Maybe a little more dipping, bobbing and weaving can add some more flavor. But yeah man, Good job. Keep accepting that good advice too, it will make you stronger and wiser.
hey man, how much do you train? like how often and how long for a work out?

shit i just just watched ur other vid. ha nice gloves, hands up! good. Its gonna feel a little funny but throwin punches from the "shell" is a must.
Final thought - i didn't see one murderous straight right. ur backing off on it.. That punch, when u sit down on it can destroy.
Work on the simple 1,1,2 or 1,2 with the emphasis on the 2. I mean really bang it.

Your a little too square with the bag. You can't get that far from it stay in close. Also your lead hand is too low.

Begleris218 2 years ago
Your fast, tho i hope that "power" aint all you got because the hooks to the body looks, and sounds very light.
Work on how to throw a heavy punch, and keep your guard when boxing. You slack with it a bit from time to time.
