  • I have SP, and its because I havent been sleeping alot in the last few months. I too feel like I'm sitting up and I can hear noises, but I feel better now that I know that it's because I get a low ammount of sleep. Sleep paralysis is very scary, and this morning's case was the last straw, I'm going to sleep more because these episodes are very scary, I was to afraid to go back to sleep and right now I'm running on about three hourse of sleep

  • i didnt think i'd die but i did think i was going to shit myself

  • Heard screams and car crashes. Deafening loud and was unable to move or talk. Happens all the time. I also felt like i moved to my parents room like i was floating while suffering all those symptoms of sp

  • well then dont scare the shit out of yourself by watching horror movies before bed..

  • When you are in sleep paralysis, and you open your eyes, do you see those things or is it when you imagine those things but you know you can't move?.. do you imagine this, or do you see it (even though it's imaginating)... CONFUSING

  • the weirdest SP expierence i had, is that i was trying to get to sleep when i kept hearing noises in my head, but i could hear them through my ears like the sounds you get when you yawn sometimes, but extreme and there was a dark figure moving my stuff around, i remeber when i went to sleep my room was a mess cause my mum was nagging me for ages to tidy it, and i never but i managed to fall back asleep and when i woke up my room was tidy my clothes were hung up and my make up was i my bag

  • I used to have REM sleep. At first its scary, then after a few times you get used to it. I started smoking a bowl of marijuana, before bed and it calmed my nerves and the it completely went away.

  • @TheBroly007 That is a very general description. when i get sleep paralysis, i also dream of a guy with a big head and small eyes. he is very tall, he normally wears tight fitting clothing, and he looks NOTHING like a fucking alien! he looks like a regular dude, except bloody all over the place, with an unhinged jaw with sharp ass teeth, and a fucking sword for his left arm. so Yeah, You sir, know nothing.

  • Smoke some pot before going to sleep, and you won't even remember what the hell happened, don't smoke too much or when you wake up you will still be under a little influence of thc. if you take some puffs though you completely relax and i am free to imagine whatever i want with high detail. i can hear orchestras playing the music i want without even 1 note wrong (that's with high doses). if you don't smoke a lot the next day you are fresh like never before, trust me guys =)

  • ive smoke weed, but i started getting these along time before i ever started

  • 1:46 thats what i saw holy my god

  • @Ethan1993m yea thats what I get. well kinda, I just cant move, and feel a panic like I need to get up because something is gonna get me or my kids.

  • I have never hallucinated anything. its always just wake up to ridiculous vibrations and i see my bedroom but cant move. but i can always snap myself out of it. if i try hard enough to "wake up" i just wake up and the vibrations stop. is that SP or something different

  • @Ethan1993m I am one year older than you. It's strange, how i started to get the same thing at your age. Are you smoking weed? I have a theory, that this disorder is made by weed. Also, your IQ is probably pretty high (second theory). These vibrations are quite strange, because my dad once saw me having that and I was actually shaking, so that doesn't make it like SP. But there is one awesome solution, don't try to stop it, don't even try to move, just wait. You will reach something amazing. ^^

  • @Loneliness1992 Well i mean i dont smoke weed on a regular basis but i have like 4 times in my life...last time i did was like june of 2010 and it still happens randomly to this day, im not sure but i think it has been happening since before i smoked... idk tho. but what happens if i let it go??? despite how many times it happens to me, im fully concious and in my right state of mind but it just freaks me out and i want to stop it so i get the strength to like move my an arm and i wake up.

  • @Ethan1993m try getting angry instead. i fucking rape everything that tries to kill me in dreams.

  • @Dataacid I agree - this works for me. In sleep paralysis and OTHER forms of psi attack, other entities WILL back down if you let them know who's boss.

  • well i had this years ago now i'm fine

i can see that some people think its Aliens, i thought it was demons. which means we are both wrong and it was just our imagination towards something that scary to experience. it real freaks you out

  • @didoegy Perhaps it is our unconscious mind. It relies on our experience with reality.

  • I've never seen anything.. usualy my eyes are closed when I have it :( I dont hear anything either.. I just cant move and hardly breath

  • That happens to me sometimes... I always try to call out but never can...

  • Hail the new god - Science, but science can't solve everything and where are the counter-arguments? All I heard was sleep paralysis cause's people to believe they're being abducted. I've never seen a little green man probing my ass during sleep paralysis. But nice documentary, killing the theory of aliens with your theory of sleep paralysis.

  • You get lucky if you JUST encounter it.

I remember waking up inside of my paralized body, so I could not take over it like we always do every time we normaly wake up.

Unless if your body dies during our normal sleep, then... there are two choices (maybe more but I dont know).

  • I recently had what i think was a sleep paralyses experience. I was sleeping in bed, not exactly sure what i was dreaming of, but i think it had something to do with war (too much call of duty), and i woke up in bed, and saw a super hornet fighter jet (im a plane buff so i know what one looks like off the top of my head) fly across my room and fire a missile at my window. When i finally approached the missile, it turned out it was a cup of pens. Ive had many similar encounters like this one.

  • i have sp all the time though the first time i had it i was terrified i thought i was dead, i couldnt move and i had an obe i was looking down on myself, very weird, people say to just relax and enjoy the experience but its easier said than done. even though i know whats happening now its still very scary

  • damm i feel this all the time but i looked up this vid cause i just felt it again lat night and i tryed movng but i couldnt than i thought i was like trying to hold a short person from touching me lol, but i was telling my self that i was feeling that shit again so i didnt panic , then i tryed hopping of my bed and i did and i was like nnow what lol? but then i was like am i really on the floor or still dreaming ?after a few minutes i was just wrapped around my covers still in bed ,

  • so that makes me wonder was that out of body experince or is my brain in another world right now, or is it just a very vivid dream ?it s kinda scary thinking about it but kinda waiting for my next experince. i also noticed it happens if i take a nap be fore i go to sleep like at 7:00 wake up around 9:00 then got to sleep for the night at what ever hour then i usually have them.

  • 7 'greys' stand around me and persuade me to 'not fight it' and 'relax- goto sleep'- terrifying as no matter how hard I fight it I end up sucumming to sleep (in these particular scenarios) and awake in the morning VERY ready for a shower and examination of my body for wounds or markings- the brain is a mysterious thing indeed- we know less about it than we do about the workings of our own planet...

  • i have this every once in awhile and the fear is beyond the roof for me

  • yea wtf, people who havnt experienced this, trust me you dont want to, your basicly asking to experience being paralysed, thats not fun

  • i think during SP our brain is still awake n our body is paralyzed at that very moment we r neither in our dream nor we r awake .....that just means we r in different world .....just imagine u r neither in ur dream nor in reality .....WHERE U COULD B ......AT THAT MOMENT.....HMMMMM....i m now excited about my next SP

  • no, go to fucking school if you want the real definition

  • It a cool thing i think. I just hate when they say its evil spirit.... damn R people

  • lol well sleep paralysis is actually quite awesome all you need to do is control your fear. i might just make a video to talk about how really there is nothing to fear. When people expect that nothing bad is going to happen in sp then NOTHING ever does. Beleive me you guys are fine you guys are even lucky if you get this sp because it leads to awesome lucid dreaming and obe's it's quite fun trust me

  • I love sleep paralysis. When you get used to it you have no fear at all. Then it becomes fun.

  • I get this. Its awful!

  • i hate my brain now........

  • I have this like 5 times a week.

  • how do you live like that?? this video scares me enough!

  • RoxaSora11- I just learn to deal with it, and how I can make it less scary lol. By the way 11 is my lucky number.

  • i had it since i was 3, at that age i was afraid to sleep

  • i get sleep paralysis almost every time i fall asleep for the past 15 years. it sucks

  • so how can science explain tht for centurys its bin the same demonic figures haunting people?

  • dunno, but it may explain your spelling

  • HA LOL

  • I only had SP twice and it was so scary that I hope I never have to experience that again!

  • is it normal when you have had sleep paralysis since you were 3, cuz thats happened to me. i never wanted to go to sleep again, i just kept my eyes open so i wouldnt sleep but i automatically went to sleep paralysis an it was realy scary o_o

  • I had my worst SP experience about a couple years ago. when i opened my eyes, and i couldnt move, i knew that it was happening and didnt think much of it. i just thought it was normal. but then i heard my dog bark in the other room and i "thought" to myself "F*** You!" and thats when it happend. a heard footsteps sprinting through the hallway toward my room. he went through the hallway to my bathroom and opened the door. he poked his head out and starred at me for the longest time. it was awful.

  • You see w/e you fear... just like on crack

  • This is all bull... The scientists are literally using every part of the human brain to explain SP. I for one think it's something science simply cannot explain.

  • Science has explained it. It's up to you whether or not you want to remain ignorant of the truth.

  • Its not all bull but its not scientifically concrete evidence. No one can explain it yet just like death. Science only show the effects sp has on the brain not the other way around. Science cure symptoms and never finds the source. Last thing cured was polio.. soo our science is governed by principles based on close mindedness. We have to free our minds before we can even start to comprehend these things.

  • I know what you mean. It's very hard to be an Objectivist who experiences sleep paralysis on a regular basis. While you accept the scientific explanation, after having an episode, it all goes out the window for a while.

  • oh i hear the buzz thing 2 its like a bee flying through my head realy fast and loud!

  • i have sleep paralysis but have never seen aliens or anything like that i do feel really scared though like somthing is there. i have seen family members crawling on the floor an ive heard voices.

  • i go through this experience every night. the funny thing is i dont see any figures, shadows or strange beings. i see myself in bed asleep but with a loud buzzing sound.when i try to move a limb i can see myself trying to aswell.its real hard but i enventually manage to move something. now im me(the one who was asleep) and the sound is louder and its even harder to move and now breathing is hard and now the place is getting darker. im sure this isnt healthy.

  • maybe ur SP is not as strong as the rest.

  • wow...interesting videos. i've experienced this several times in my life. about 10 times that i can remember. it's always quite terrifying. i hear the buzzing...my body wont move...BUT, i've never opened my eyes when it's happening. i've hear anecdotal claims that alien abductions could be SP episodes...and the last thing i want to see is an alien face with those black eyes looking back at me. good lord that would be terrifying. i usually try to fall back to sleep. it is horrible though.

  • Man, all the nightmares I have ever had. I must be thinking the world is pretty horrible and not know it. I have always had nightmares since I was a kid. There are only two regular dreams as I can recall.

  • This kind of stuff happend to me as a kid... i don't remember anything human, it was alwase an image of somthing organic though... all I really remember is it getting bigger at what seemed like a really slow pace, and it was alwase getting louder until it got so loud I came out of it. It was pretty badass now that I look back at it

  • 2:00 - 2:02 is what i commonly see when this happens to me.

  • you know, the first time this happens to you, you feel like you're going to die. but when it happens constantly, you start getting used to it and your mind kinda goes like "dammit, not again" and you just kinda go along with the SP.

  • So true. When it first happen it's was rediculous. After awhile it's like "ok not this crap again." It varies though. What happen to me the other weak really scared the crap out of me. This thing roared in my face with anger.

  • i never hallucinated well only once that my doll was attacking me xD the first time i really couldnt move and it took a while to pass i thought i was going to die because my head started hurting and i heard buzzzing sounds (i didnt knew what was hapening back then)

  • i saw floating babies and heard carnival music, and then i felt something come from underneith the bed and i immediately thought, omg, its here, and its going to kill me. its absolutely terrifying. i can't live with it anymore.

  • @Irenerz: Yeah when it happens to me I'm like This AGAIN? Wonder what I'm going to see now....usually I'm thinking to hell with it I'm going back to sleep....unless I have to pee.

  • @Irenerz lol i know what u mean, ones i was on a flight and i could hear the captains saying that get ready cuz we are close to our desteny, and i was in my mind like, CMON can someone plz wake me up, cuz i cant move LOL.

  • @Irenerz YES!

  • @Irenerz i do too. Sometimes i say to them (obviously i can barely move my mouth) "Fuck off ! really? go do something else."

  • @Irenerz now that i know its normal, whenever that happens to me i end up half jumping out of my bed..

  • @Irenerz

Too bad I have only had this once. And really, I hope I don't get it again. It is like the guy described it. Terror, menacing, and on a scale, it would be 10 (I might even say it could break the scale.)

  • @Irenerz you couldn't have said it better....lol...thats exactly how I feel.

  • @Irenerz I never felt like I was going to die. Suffer - yes. Die - no.

Panic attacks make me feel like I'm going to die. My kundalini being stimulated - THAT makes me feel like I might die. But sleep paralysis makes me feel tortured without escape. Whatever entities are in the room with me aren't trying to kill me, but make me suffer for their own personal gain.

Sometimes it's psi vampires draining peoples' energy in their sleep.

  • geeez i hate this stuff!!

  • what is this from?

  • this stuff is scary. its been happening to me since i was little.

my worst one was when i was home alone sleeping in my moms room and i felt the sleep paralysis kickin in. and as soon as i couldnt move the bedroom door slammed open and a tall dark foggy figure ran towards my bed and was growling and got on the side of my bed and started pushing down on my side. i snapped out of it and there was no one there and my door was shut. it lasted about 4 minutes

shits scary man i hate it

  • I have a secret, MASTURBATE before you sleep.

  • why?

  • why not?

  • Lmao!!!

  • has this ever happened to you?

  • SP Or masturbation before sleep ha? No I havent had sp yet, I'd like to experience it though. I do believe in it. Anyways I was just laughing at the random masturbation comment :)

  • SP, it is a scary experience. last saturday my friends kept me up till 6:30 AM so i took a nap the next day and later that night when i went to sleep it happened, but i had a night terror. i saw a grim weeper looking figure neeled down beside me and i could barely see his face cause of a very dim light. i tried yelling for help but you can't and all he did was look at me and look back at the window, its a scary experience.

  • @leopower7 Im guessing that releases endorphins which help you have better dreams? That'd make sense.

  • @leopower7 I do all the time ;) lmao

  • @leopower7 Dude now that you mention it, i didnt jack off that night :p

  • @leopower7 this fukkin works!!

  • @leopower7 well said it always works

  • fear is the worse feeling you can ever get yet it can be exciting when someone is with you

  • i have sp somtimes i wake up and i see shadows . then after that i would see midna on the end of my bed huging me . yes the twilight princess is real

  • there would be many nights when i would have these hilusonations and also not be able to move. once i had seen a huge dark figure hovering directly over me and i heard it speaking to me but i couldn't make out what i was hearing. could this only happen while someone is sleeping? because i would many times experience similar feelings while i was awake and walking around my home. i would sometimes see similar figures and hear voices. i would much appretiate it if someone reply. thank you.

  • SP only happens when you are asleep; I cant remember the other condition for some reason I think the initials were POP I'll try to find it again for you

  • that happened to me too! A dark figure was over me holding me down and whispering to me gibberish. It was an episode of SP

  • this is very interesting, I used to suffer from something that seems very similar to what they are talking about. I knew that what I was seeing could not be real but there were times when i would start screaming and crying because I was being followed by someone and I would actually see what/who was following me even when family was with me. It was extremely terrifying for me. strangely it went away only after prayers from my family and friends, no treatments or counseling.

  • If its right after you wake up and you are hallucinating but can move around it is a seperate condition I forgot what it is called I'll look it up for you though.

  • what's the name of the documentary this video segment came from?

  • i agree with jaapzio. he really did describe the fear really well. these videos were good. im in the middle of making my own sleep paralysis experience video. check out my chanel within the next couple days.

  • Indeed the fear is that Intense

  • Blaming it on aliens!!!!

Its a mental stage I myself exspirance it! it has nothing to do with aliens.

  • dude its not aliens you fucksss, its your mind you fukin retards with this alien shit stfu!! hahah its not this alien crap come on wake up out of your dream that is reality

  • I had this problem last night for the first time in years. Never hear or see anything freaky, just have a feeling of absolute terror and being unable to move. My eyes are opened and look around and see shadows everywhere.

I think this has to do with sleep deprivation, I only got 10 hours of sleep over the past 4 days, then all of a sudden SP!

This is no joke to all the naysayers. I dont believe in aliens or ghosts, but SP and its feeling of terror is real.

  • I agree that it has to do with sleep deprivation...I got SP for the first time when i came back from a week in Ibiza. I also actually slept walk to the phone and rang my bf and he sed he had strange messages from me making weird sounds!! Its happend to me a couple of times since the first..its sooo scary..it feels like there's a ton weight pinning you to the bed..i also find it very difficult to breath. I wonder if it has anything to do with general panic attacks coz I get them too.

  • I'm very thankful not to have to compression problem.

What I did have was my arm falling asleep and I couldn't do anything about it, so I felt horrified that I was going to cut off circulation in my arm until it fell off or was damaged severely.

So, I tryed moving as rapidly as possible, overloading my central nervous system with signals of movement to attempt to wake myself up- and I did.

  • There's no fear compared to this. Anyone who thinks they've gotten scared by a movie or something like that don't know the half of it.

  • THAT FEAR that happens! Oh, it is SOOOO SCARRRY! It is NOT pleasant, and of course, when done I turn on the lights and try not to sleep, I turn on some TV or music:)

  • It moved like a Cartoon! MAN THIS SHIT HAS TO BE REAL!!! OMFG!!!

  • Who the fuck gave me a +? I was being sarcastic, don't put me in the same group with these other retards who believe this shit.

  • if you've never experienced sleep paralysis or exploding head syndrome, you can't understand how intense, terrifying, and realistic it feels.

  • Excuse you, what don't you believe?

You are completely narrowminded and will remain that way until you are willing to accept that there is more than just your experience of the world.

I experience sleep paralysis, not to the extent of what I have heard others experience. But I wake up paralysed and see things. It is dreaming while you are awake. It was very scary to me as a child, but now that I understand, it is not so frightening, but it is not pleasant.

  • I hope you have a sleep paralysis episode lasting for 8 hours with that kind of dick attitude.

Sleep paralysis is a sleep disorder, and occurs to a lot of people, INCLUDING ME.

It really fucking sucks. It happens when I am genuinely stressed out or lacking sleep.

You'll never feel more fear than during this. At least I don't feel as much because I don't have as severe of symptoms.

I did hallucinate that I was being dragged into Hell during one episode...

  • it's even more than terror, it feels like dying

  • Dude if this happend to me I would slap myself and eat some waffles :[

  • this is so true but weiirrd.

  • dudeeee
