Wow! Well, u guys can say n/or think what u want but not 1 of em (Sammartino, Flair, Backlund, Rhodes, Undertaker, HHH, Stone Cold, Rock n ESPECIALLY Cena) has drawn more $ than Hulk. As far as in the ring, yeah, Hulk wasnt too great...xcept in Japan lol. Cena is the biggest fuck up Vince ever did! Hes a good wrestler but hes not worthy of ANY World Title! Poor Stan only held the title for a whopping nine days. Outside the ring Stasiak was actually a nice guy. When it was the WWWF it was common for them to have a heel take the title from a face (as Stasiak did against Morales) only to use them as a trasitional champion - Koloff only held his title for a month before losing to Morales . . . Really wasn't fair to the heel - But the face v. heel matches are what sold in that era. I believe Graham had the longest heel run at 10 months\ or so.

A person further down the list of past comments wondered if MSG taped this match. It's hard to say, though they occasionally used the Felt Forum to show "closed circuit" broadcasts of MSG shows when the crowd was big enough. There are videos from further back at MSG; not sure why McMahon doesn't just put them on a DVD and release them. There would be a huge demand for such a video.

This is an 8mm silent film, shot by the guy talking (Rocky Raymond). While he doesn't admit it on tape, it appears he either missed the finish (changing film?) or somehow destroyed it during developing. He has a lot of this stuff out there, from both MSG and the Boston 'Gah-den'. It's great to have ANY of this stuff available, so you can't bitch too much. Bruno was the best. EVER.

This video is a sham..Bruno beat Stan on 12.10.73 at MSG....with Bruno winning the title for the 2nd time. My brother & I were three rows from ringside. Stan set Bruno up for the heart punch and Bruno turned it on Stan...dropped Stan and pinned him at 10.58 pm that night. This video is a voice over...and why is video missing...they had to cut it? Sounds bogus!

This match took place in late '73. Anybody know if there's any footage of the Sicilian Stretcher Match between Bruno and Stasiak back in '76? I think it was their 3rd and last match at MSG that year.

Yeah,it was 9 days. It seems today there is a different champ every week! It would actually be cool if WWE would put the belt on someone and give them a 5 year reign. Can you imagine tha? In THIS day and age? I could see Orton doing that. We've had long face reigns(Backlund,Hogan,Sammarti­no) but what about a heel? Can you imagine a hated punk being a 5 year champ? FYI- I was at the match that Stasiak beat Pedro for the belt. Everyone in the arena left that night believing Pedro won that match as the ref counted 3 and Pedro ran around as he had won. No ring announcemant was made. In the newpaper on Monday it was written that Pedro had lost. Back in those years they must have feared having a title change in front of an ethnic crowd

I was at this match. Pedro lost his belt to stasiak in Philly I think. The next month at MSG I saw Pedo beat Stasiak and Bruno defended his belt against John Leo Johnathan.

Stasiak was the true defintion of "transition champion". He held the title for 9 days in Dec '73, defeating Pedro and then losing to Bruno. Man, Stasiak is only 36 years old at the time of this video. He must have had a hard life.
