Hi hi! Have you heard the talk about - fast abs magic (do a google search)? Ive heard some decent things about it and my brother in law got hot Six pack abs and lost crazy amounts of belly fat with it.
I am looking for the squishy 2lb, 3lb, and 4lbs squishy medicine balls. Anyone know where I can buy them? Is there a specific name for the squishy type? Thanks~!
I'm going to try this...I workout and run everyday but it's starting to get a bit boring. This looks like it's more fun because of all the changes....GREAT!!!
this is really good, i play rugby at quins and there we never work on our abs we work on our muscular endurance and muscular strength but never our abs on there own this is great :)
Based upon other work from TT I would suggest 8 to 12 reps per exercise, except three planks of 10 to 20 seconds each. Some of this will depend upon what you can do. This will be intense -six minutes of core work with limited rest so you will likely find your own rep capabilities
Great ideas Craig - I'll have to take note of this routine and do it after my next workout on Wednesday.
An interesting 'variation' to the stability ball plank though -- I'm used to the elbows on the ball, but what I do every on occasion is purposely "wiggle" the ball around while I'm doing the plank. Man oh MAN does that work your core. Give it a shot!
that is a killer version. very tough. going straight ahead and back, just a couple of inches, is all you need to do to make it very hard. Stay strong!

I would suggest three times per week as more than enough. I suggest you check out Turbulence Training for more information. It is a good program. (BTW I have been a customer and I am in no way associated with the program).
How many repetitions per exercise??

Today I did this ab routine for the first time. Wow, what a challenge, even for someone like me who does regular ab workouts.
Thanks for another of many great routines!

Genius workout. I've seen Pavel do a version of that last one with a little wheelie thing, never thought of using the ball.
The TT stuff is very creative and enjoyable.

bboyxcaliber- you would perform this at the end of any turbulence training workout.
shakaama - I'd suggest 3 days a week
Gnar543 - depending on your level, hold the side plank between 10-30 seconds.

so where in the normal TT workout would you add this? before the intervals??

These are really good. And the fun point is that while they might seem easy before one tries them, they are really killer ones.

You can do this everyday. Is so simple and convenient. I think a little core stimulus everyday is not bad. Especially on recovery days.

it looks like a bit of muscle confusion concentrating on the abs. pretty darn good technique.

You really only need to do a workout like this two, maybe three times a week. Full-body workouts should be the bulk of your exercise regimen.
