@jsosterhaus Remember when George W Bush created TARP to bail out the banks? That's when capitalism in the United States ended. 30 years of Reaganomics, where all banking regulations were removed and the mantra was "the market can regulate itself", proved to be a clusterfuck to the US economy.

When you allow the market to regulate itself it leads to the Great Depression under Hoover and the Bush Recession. Did consrvatives rethink their stupdity? Of course not! More tax breaks for the rich!

They can tax the rich, but the money will not even make a scratch in the nearly 15 trill black hole of debt....I think we are now up to every man, women and child in the US now owes 52,000 in taxes...... One trill, if you could spend 750,000 in a 24 hour period, every day for 4000 years, that is around 1 trill...It would take roughly 60,000 years at 750,000 per day to get nearly 15 trill.....

By "fair share" he means ALL of it........quick fact for your douchebags that think the rich need to pay more............the bottom 50% of wage earners pay less than 3% of all federal taxes, top 1% pays 38% , the remaining 59% is paid by the middle class. @logansGT How many jobs has Paris Hilton created? Or Dick Cheney? Or Lindsay Lohan? Who are these millionaires creating jobs? I see a lot of millionaires collecting billions in welfare, and few if any are creating jobs.

If giving the government giving free money to millionaires and allowing them to avoid pay taxes at the same rate as everyone else (and in many cases, millionaires pay NO TAXES WHATSOEVER) helps the economy, why does it ALWAYS tank when conservatism is put into practice?

Yeah & Congress got huge wage increases!! Why do they always want to tax & never cut spending? Like the "Financial Reform Bill" which went back to Jan 2008 & gave upto $250,000 to foolish people who had over $100,000 in the bank.... yeah like they were poor? Heck they had $100,000 more than most... R govmt is full of phonies!!
