I can only tell you that the actual communist party is against the demonstrations and they still claim that the people out there have been paid by someone from the West. They're not really complaining. That would be dumb of them to make a conspiracy in order to take down those in power only to agree with the Kremlin in the end instead of opposing it.

@opeeum69 Also, one of the leaders of the communist Left Front that's never been a part of the State Duma (parliament), Sergei Udaltsov, is now in a bad condition in prison for actively opposing the government. That's what happens to communists who have nothing to do with the elections or mr. Putin and his puppets.

The demonstrations were mainly organized by liberals from a movement called Solidarity. The same Left Front was involved as well, but, again, they had no control over the elections.

3. probably the protesters did it themselves since they, and not putin, have the most to gain, b/c without ballot stuffing, the protestors would lose an excuse to riot

@opeeum69 51% of russians are for Putin according to the most recent poll. Don't forget that he controls the media, so without the propaganda this would have been different. 32% of russians have voted for United Russia (another independent poll). That's not the majority and it's not the 49% or so, as they say.

People know who falsified the elections. If you look at all the videos on the internet about it and ask those who watched closely, they will tell you it's the people behind the elections.

@opeeum69 The reason to do that for Putin is to make 49, 50 or 60% out of those 32%. It's something regular under authoritarian/totalitarian regimes that are made to look like there is a democracy. And I will repeat that the leaders of the demonstrations had no access to the ballots. They never do. Why and how would they?
