Have only recently discovered Jim Bishop and his truly amazing castle. A man made of iron and a man after my own heart! A man who is the true salt of the earth!
Wish I were filthy rich so I could give him a few million to help complete his dream.
I visited 2 years ago and plan to go back again. My brother lives south of there in Trinidad. this place was so neat to see. I took 3 grandchldren they loved it it was an adventure for all of us. Mr bishop was there and voiced his opinions about our governement. all true statements by the way. i took notes and then when i got home to Tennessee i checked up some of the statements he made. all true. God Bless you Mr bishop keep it going sir. thanks so much.
It is incredibly awesome. I've lived in Beulah and have visited quite a few times. Never ceases to amaze me. I wish I could stock-pile everyone I know in a van to take them to this place!
Jim bishop... his son was helping at first but then his son got crushed by the tree... a lot of people come and offer to help but Jim Bishop turns then down and keeps building on!!... wow i was there like 30 times already i live in Beulah :D:D
Great video and soundtrack.

We were there in May for the first time and spoke with Jim. He never mentions family. Does he still have a wife?
