i love the footage of the audience, for this era and in color I found it as fascinating as her, it is so rare

The music is great. Dinah and the band were great, but the film suffers from horrible camerawork and direction (if it had any). Instead of capturing them giving this classic and historical performance, what we get is a lot of shots over and over of the lame-ass audience members talking and dancing. Yeah we get a glimpse of Max Roach and the priceless scene of Dinah playing along on the vibes, but that just rubs it in how much we missed while they focused on the forgetable nobodies in the crowd.

I saw this clip 4 years ago and it was removed and I was devistated - now I can breath easy having found it again. Thanks for posting it.
