Two things that I would recommend. I recommend getting a SimulTALK. I don't know if you've heard of it, but I reviewed it for the company, and I use it for 4.1 speakers. I also recommend getting Logitech LS21 2.1 speakers. Awesome quality, and if you have a SimulTALK, like me, you can have 4.1 surround sound with great quality.

Not sure what happened to the quality - I think it was the lighting (and also the conversion process) as the cam is usually decent. The MacBook is a 2.16Ghz, 2GB RAM, 160GB HDD.

I have a recommendation about something for you're shelves! I might have missed it, but I didn't see a printer there. (Unless you print wireless somewhere else in the house) But I think a nice printer could be a good idea for one of those shelves. It would have to be compact, and have paper in/out feeder close together. But I think it could work.
