Can you actually do anything with it or did you build it to pretend to be an offroader. That thing has way to many weak links and would fail on any extrem trail.
Well it looks very impressive but couldn't you accomplish the same exact thing with solid axles for a hell of a lot less? What benefit does independent suspension have besides less sprung weight (Important in race cars not so much offroad) and a more comfortable ride (once again important in luxury sedans not so much offfroad). If you attached the air springs to solid axles wouldn't you accomplish the exact same thing (travel, articulation, etc)? Is it independent just for novelty's sake?
@madzyzome well it looks like at the highest ride height, it would have way more clearance where the diff would be, that could be useful rock crawling, or mudding in gigantic ruts.
sure that is awesome, but you cant tell me that a rig built to the same height with a couple of D60's would be just as capable. It would probably cost more like 8K, and would be way more durable and serviceable in the field.
That was bad ass !!! when the back tire came off the ground , it looked like a dog taking a piss .. you should hook up a line , so you can squirt out some apple juice near your difs. .. then pull up next to a hummer in a parking lot , and make it look like your jeep is pissing on the hummer .. that would be tooooo funny .. oh yea , NICE JEEP !!!!!
ok , that might be just a little much ... I said it cuz most jeep owners , do not like hummers .. it would be like them bumper stickers , with the little boy that pisses on everything ...
Why is it equipped to move like that?

My gawds. If I had one built, I would have a washer fluid tube routed by the rear tire. Pull up to a low rider, lift tire and mark my territory :D

Great work.... one questiom though, why in hell would you need a hi-lift jack for this beast????
vettecore 1 year ago
that is sick! What is that adaptive hydropneumatics? Sounds like pneumatic cylinders.

the advantage is putting the power to the ground where ever you want it
cityfurniture 2 years ago
So, what's the point? Seems like a huge waste of money. What advantage would any of that have on a real trail?
greenjeep84 2 years ago
@greenjeep84 ....
you don't drag your differentials thru ruts like every solid axle does, main reason jeeps get stuck.,

Is it possible to rig a Hummer H1 like this?
BC4Lyphe 2 years ago
Yes, but it would cost about $200K.
gocms 2 years ago
@BC4Lyphe hummers suck! but the army humvee things are sweet.
ihitatree 1 year ago 3
@ihitatree I agree, I do like the styling of the H1s but would like to put a 632 Merlin into one. All the other H2 and H3s are for Soccer moms.....

lol, I like the look of the army humvees but I reckon driving one would be a bit tricky being over 7 foot wide!
Also humvees r really big but so little space inside especially up front, that transmission tunnel is huge.

haha!! Id have to agree =]
