Wow....it's kind of hard to believe that Dr. Lee Roberson fired Mr.Underwood because of his stand on the KJB. Could it be that the staff and Dr. Roberson just did not care for or "liked" Mr.Ruckman? They refused to associate with Dr. Ruckman and they wanted Mr.Underwood to do the same? With everything that is going on with the statements made by Jack Schaap, and now I hear all of this. This information is VERY disturbing to me. And I mean disturbing! What happens now?
Well, God's will is for local pastors to train up pastors. God left his work to the church, not a school system. Now, the bible should be taught in schools, but God left His work for the church.
In a secular college you will be fired if you believe in creation. So, in a bible college you will be fired if you believe God's word is perfect? I can see the pattern, we are falling away.
The only time the word "school" appears in the KJV it is someone preaching false doctrine (Acts 19:9)
The only times "college" appears in the KJV it is a woman "prophetess", which may or may not be interpreted as a bad thing depending if you regard a prophetess as synonymous with woman-preacher. (2Ki 22:14, 2Ch 34:22)
(continued)... but my point was that Roberson may have done great things during his ministry, but his legacy appears to be one of handing an entire school over the the Vatican version crowd. Just like Bob Jones Sr. did.
@bbbfohio I often quote the words of Gamaliel in Acts 5:38. "If this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:"
The Bible colleges and seminaries of today have no basis in scripture. I am NOT against small, church run Bible institutes, but these huge multi-million dollar, culture centers aren't producing anything more than indoctrinated parrots. I have talked with many of these "educated" preachers, and they are are incapable of understanding the scriptures for themselves!
@husky394xp That's right. And just like Ruckman's PBI, they serve in ministry all three years, go out on the streets, etc. That's lacking in nearly every seminary I've looked into or heard of from grads.
I've heard men say that Roberson told Bob Gray (Texas) that he believed the same thing Gray and Ruckman believe about the King James Bible, but he told Gray that he was "too old to fight" so he just let TTU go to pot.
I have no connection to TTU or Roberson, except one preacher that pastored a church that my family attended when I was very young. Ironically, that was about the same time that this happened to Underwood. And the TTU preacher our family served under was definitely a KJV man.
So is this tolerance in action? Just asking? OH! wait i get it! tolerance is accepting anything that is not Godly and bigotry is anything that houners God! that clears it up. Up here in canada the church my famiily belonged to banned yes that is right banned the kjv bible! you can use the niv, nkjv, or whatever you want! but not the kjv. We no longer attend the church that my family was in for 60 years! we are looking now but my area of canada is a wasteland for biblical truth.
@husky394xp will try to find one but i don't know if there are any. We are as bad as some eroupean countries, I don't know enough to preach but i am reading and reading the kjv at home and on the bus to work and so forth! but it often seems like there are no bible believers left! I know there are but we are very few in number, the apostacy is furthur advanced then in the us almost as bad as england. ps i am not discoureged just trying to explain,
@MegaGoodtunes Yes, I have heard that it is very bad in Canada. I know a few others who live in British Columbia, and they tell me the same thing.
I did a video on how to start a house church, which I will eventually put here on YouTube. I do have a sermon on the house church movement. It is available at our sermonaudio page.
I am part of a small house church, and yes it is difficult to find fellow Bible believers. For now, stick to reading the KJV as much as possible!
KJV Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, it is written, That man shall not live buy bread alone, but buy every word of God.
some couterfits.ESV Luke 4:4 And Jesus said to him, "It is written, 'Man shall not live buy bread alone."
NASB Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, "It is written, 'Man shall not live buy bread alone.'"
KJV 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profeteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. ~Jesus Christ
The scriptures are degraded subtly yet a side by side comparison such as what you posted makes it VERY CLEAR why the KJV is the most accurate English translation, and of God.
We don't even need to read Greek/Hebrew. It's right there if someone has discernment from thy Lord!
Incredible! He gets fired for refuting the very book that had already been refuted by its own founder, Dr. Frank Logsdon!! Such myopic people who cannot NOT associate Dr. Ruckman with anyone who simply believes in the King James Bible!!
I love Dr. Ruckman, but, well before learning of him, I believed (and believe!) the King James Bible!

@MegaGoodtunes Last I heard, the KJV is banned in 9 countries. Yet these same 9 countries don't ban NUCLEAR weapons!
Can't find a good church? Two words for you brother, "HOUSE CHURCH". More and more Bible believers are returning to house churches.
