These tests are pretty standard. They've helped us perceive a child's understanding of their surroundings/etc at certain ages. Smart baby is smart. :) <3

If you paid ANY attention to the beginning you would see monkeys. If you do not speak Japanese, you should at least realize they are talking about monkeys.

If you DO speak Japanese, (or took a basic psych course) you would recognize and/or understand this is a replication of the Visual Cliff experiment which shows both humans and monkeys (other primate) do the same thing at 8mo of age (Gobson & Walk)
