My grandfather on my mother's side was from Ireland. In a way, I'm jealous of him for that. I really wouln't mind hearing more poems either. But whatever you want to do, it's all good!

the language is one of few celtic language spoken today that derived around 500bc. there are many other take on the celtic language such as welsh, breton, manx Gaelic, scottish and cornish. ireland has double the amount of people still speaking a celtic language then any other celtic region. thanks for listening i hope this isnt to much info hah a.

the actuall irish language that people speak today is only about 700 years old, the oldest language still spoken is Tamil, wich is 6,000 years old.( agus labhrion me gaelige)

I actually never heard irish before either like WanderingWhisper - except for the few irish pronuounciations (sp?) of places in "P.S. I love you". But it sounds very lovely... And the vid is very relaxing :) you're keeping me from my homework...

thank you for that. when spoken in an eastern irish dialect it can sound pretty nice. but north west and other regions have a very harsh manner about their speech.
